Well, after some games are actually played, it looks a little different than I thought. The SEC and PAC 10, which I thought were deepest/toughest aren't. The BIG 12, which seemed average, is EXTREMELY tough at the top and laughably weak at the bottom. It can be argued that 3 of the top 5 teams and 3of the bottom 5 teams in power conferences are BIG 12. The Big East is as pathetic as expected, and the ACC, is not as improved as I thought. In fact, they might rival the Big East for worst conference. The BIG 10 seems filled with average teams and OSU/MSU who are both good enough to beat anyone.
Right now ill ill keep the SEC on top out of sheer number of teams that can play but if they play OOC, I dunno. They haven't fared well against solid competition
BIG 12 has four teams that look damn near unbeatable . But fortunately for the CFB world they all play each other. Pac 12 Big 10 ACC Big East
imo

If you like Arena Football then BIG12 is the choice.

Sooner, you'd have a little more credibility if you knew the Big East is not a football conference and you weren't a Big 12 homer. You gotta play defense to be a contender, who in the Big 12 does that??

Pac 12 Big 10 ACC Big East So who are the Big 12 teams that look unbeatable? TCU needed a miracle to win yesterday. Oklahoma needed OT to beat Tennessee. Baylor has played nobody and I'm scratching my head to figure who the 4th team is...I guess Oklahoma State who Texas gave everything the Pokes could handle. yep, nearly unbeatable....

The B12 produces the smallest share (per capita/member) of NFL talent than any of the other P5 leagues

Beware of the Michigan State hype machine. With Oregon being stomped by Utah....that MSU win over Oregon doesn't look as incredible now.

MSU is not going to look flashy, they just win. They play their game and they typically win. Dantonio is one of the best coaches in college football.

They're a good team...I almost had them in my top 4, till Utah popped up... who would win between Utah and Michigan State right now?? They definitely aren't #2

Vanderbilt lost to WKU and gave Mississippi a solid game, Auburn (rated in the top 10 early) struggled to beat Jacksonville State and has lost twoce, Arkansas lost to Toledo and Texas Tech, who has Georgia played, Who has Alabama beaten, South Carolina sure looks unbeatable, Ohio State had nearly 600 yards of offense but struggled to beat VT? (a game they led 42-17!!??), MSU's win over Oregon is waning but Utah's win over the Ducks (without their starting QB) puts them in your top 4. You're logic is starting to resemble a block of swiss cheese - it's full of holes!
Seriously, it's early - it will play out! If Utah goes undefeated or wins the Pac 12 with one loss, they got a great shot at the playoffs.

They beat Wisconsin lol, one of your Big 10 gems you Ohio State fans are the biggest conference apologists I've ever seen... I don't WANT the Big 10 to suck...it's just strictly observation. I thought Penn State and Nebraska would be better.... Ohio State and Michigan State are held by a different standard, because of playoff considerations...but besides them, I see Northwestern and Michigan as the only good things going on in the Big 10. Who else is good? Please don't tell me Indiana lol I'll definitely concede that the SEC West is not what it was portrayed as this year. Auburn sucks bad....and the Arkansas loss to Toledo is ugly. Miss St. isn't as good either...it's become top heavy again, with Ole Miss, Bama, and LSU at the top
