Lol. Does Northwestern have the only win for the B1G so far?

Pac-12 North looks pretty weak right now. I have a feeling Stanford will begin a slow demise into a 7-5 type of team. They don't have the talent that they had under Harbaugh.

Wonder how Bucs90 feels about 3 former 2nd/3rd string ACC QBs starting in the SEC on Saturday?

Neither Oregon or Michigan State looked particularly impressive vs. FCS Eastern Washington and Western Michigan from the MAC.
Oregon had the advantage of playing Eastern Washington's QB, and still allowed 41 points.
But, these were week one games.

Was cold and rainy in London, summer is definitely over...Starbux was already serving pumpkin spice lattes there.

Worst losses of the week...
Stanford - 6 points against Northwestern? And they play in conference where they'll probably need to score over 30 points a week to have a chance at winning. They better get that turned around quickly....
Nebraska - you should never lose on a Hail Mary. At worst, interfere with the guy and make them run another play. That was bad....
Arizona State - A Pac 12 favorite, they did not look good at all. So much for one of Herbstriet's picks to make the playoffs....
Penn State - Losing to Temple. Not saying Temple is bad but my goodness, the Nittany Lions have a long way to go. Christian Hackenberg made a huge mistake going to Penn State - he's going to spend most of his college career lying on his back (which wouldn't be a bad thing if he was in his dorm room with a lady friend.)

Good summary, Doc.
Watched the Temple game...their D was pretty solid and got 10 sacks, including one play where Temple rushed 2 against 6 and still got the sack.
The boo birds will be out soon in Happy Valley.

Thing about Texas, I didn't expect them ti win at Notre Dame. I did think they'd play better but the games I picked I thing the losing teams were expected to look far better than they did. Nebraska just peed down their legs....

None of us did.... but, the magnitude of that loss is shaking people up at Texas. we had a LOSING SEASON last year.
Losing seasons at Texas are generally followed, quickly, by coaching changes...
More evidence of the continued futility:
David McWilliams was LOVED when he was hired... he had losing seasons two years in a row... then, went 10-2 and won the conference.
The next year? He lost again, and got fired.
Charlie was NOT loved when he came here.... I'm not sure he survives two consecutive losing seasons. And, right now? That looks highly likely.
