Do you know of any sites at which the academic majors of the individual Alabama scholarship football players can be found ? I've looked around but found nothing including the Alabama football media guide. All the other media guides I've owned and checked have listed players majors. I even called the U of Alabama sports information office and asked about it. The lady that answered the call asked if I checked 'RollTide.com'...which I had ( nothing). She said to hold on while she could ask around the office, but minutes later a recorded voice came on saying " the number you called is no longer in service "
Thanks

Alabama tries to let it's students keep some information private(not an easy thing in this world ). Do you have a vital need for the information or is this about troll bait?

Just a simple question to our Bama man. Wasn't really meant to stir something up. The lady at the sports information office didn't mention anything about players privacy. U of Alabama doesn't hesitate a bit to share academic info , including majors, when its student-athletes are awarded academic honors...soo isn't it reasonable to wonder why this info is hidden for most of the roster ?

Just a simple question to our Bama man. Wasn't really meant to stir something up. I'm sure your thoughts are about the furtherance of education. I certainly wouldn't want to think you had ulterior motives.

I don't know if it really matters what the players are majoring in. Last year Ohio State had 12 kids get drafted by the NFL and I'd be willing to bet if you ranked the top 12 salaries of all the kids from their respective class at Ohio State - they'd be the top 12. The thing is, when you go to a place like Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame - the football factories as some like to call them - you're set, unless you're a real idiot and you screw it up. the alumni, the coach, the affiliation of being a part of that brotherhood will sustain you if you don't mess it up. Some kids get their degrees, others go to the NFL and make more money than they could have ever dreamed, others may wind up coaches but the advantages of being an Alabama or Ohio State or USC or Clemson or whatever shouldn't be undervalued. The program wants them all to succeed and they'll do everything they can to help you.

I know after many years of being the only CF program in America that refused to share academic majors for players Bama did finally release a token 'team' report to Bleacher Report, in 2015. Still no majors listed for individual players like all other CF programs do. I have no proof but I'd be willing to wager that at least half of Bama's starters are hidden away and clustered in the 'Exercise' major. I'm goin to check in on Clemson.

I remember a bunch of us watching a Bama bowl game years ago ( probably decades ) against Michigan .Every time a player made a nice play his picture would be flashed up on the screen with a little bio...age, home town, class and major etc. Well, every single Bama kid highlighted was listed as a 'Human Performance' major. We just couldn't control our laughter. I wish ESPN/ABC, CBS and Fox would still do that to add a little comic entertainment to big time CF watching.
