Rice #18
I'm surprised more people don't see Houston and Rice as great expansion candidates....Houston wouldn't work for everyone because of academics, but Rice fits Big 10 and PAC 12 academic requirements

#10 Johns Hopkins is an associate member of the Big Ten and Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Penn State and Ohio State are all within the top 52. Not bad for a bunch of schools with no honor. Chicago was also a charter member of the Big Ten but obviously they dropped out a while ago.

Both are great academic conferences. No additions for the B12 but the SEC adds Florida!
