Uh, the U2 photos were incontrovertible proof. They stood alone. The British and French governments refused to issue statements supporting the US position until the were shown absolute proof of the missiles being in Cuba. To American intelligence analysts, "only direct evidence, such as aerial photographs, could be convincing." It was not until 14 October, however, that a U-2, authorized at last to fly over the Western part of Cuba, brought the first high-altitude photographs of what seemed to be Soviet strategic missile sites, in different stages of completion, deployed on Cuban soil. Of course the U2 photos provided evidence of Russian missiles being placed in Cuba. However, the U2 photographs did not prove that the missiles were armed with nuclear warheads. The assessments of intelligence analysts filled in that missing part of the equation. George Washington's was born on February 11, not February 22. He was born in 1731, not 1732. Let's see if you can figure that out... On the Julian calendar, yes... but, we don't use that any more.

A+! But, the Julian Calendar was in use in the American Colonies when Washington was born. The British Empire converted from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar in 1752. Speaking of calendars, did you ever notice that "Sep" usually means 7, but September is the 9th month, "Oct" usually means 8, but October is the 10th month, "Nov" usually means 9, but November is the 11th month and Dec" usually means 10, but December is the 12th month? Each is off by 2 from where they would be expected to be. Why?

Why would the NSA largely remain silent, when they are the only agency that would have definitive proof if such hack occurred?
She started with an exaggeration '17 agencies' - stretched their conclusion, 'Russia Responsible' - then throws a real long ball 'Trump is Putin's puppet'
All hogwash.
Like Bevo and Hero have said: That was the entire focus of CNN and others - the story was how the emails were "stolen", not the contents of those emails. (But them they did discuss the contents of one email, and selectively edited the remarks to delete the part about "Hillary hates regular Americans.")
Again, the entire narrative around this topic is completely oblivious to the content.
John Harwood's poll showed that only 17% of Americans believe the Russian hacking story.
With respect to the alleged interference by Russia and WikiLeaks in the U.S. election, it is a major mystery why U.S. intelligence feels it must rely on “circumstantial evidence,” when it has NSA’s vacuum cleaner sucking up hard evidence galore. What we know of NSA’s capabilities, shows that the email disclosures were from leaking, not hacking.
Hack: When someone in a remote location electronically penetrates operating systems, firewalls or other cyber-protection systems and then extracts data. Our own considerable experience, plus the rich detail revealed by Edward Snowden, persuades us that, with NSA’s formidable trace capability, it can identify both sender and recipient of any and all data crossing the network.
Leak: When someone physically takes data out of an organization — on a thumb drive, for example — and gives it to someone else, as Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning did. Leaking is the only way such data can be copied and removed with no electronic trace.
"Because NSA can trace exactly where and how any “hacked” emails from the Democratic National Committee or other servers were routed through the network, it is puzzling why NSA cannot produce hard evidence implicating the Russian government and WikiLeaks. From a technical perspective alone, we are convinced that this is what happened." Why did the White House, who knew of the "hacking" months ago, not complain or raise a stink about it until Trump won? It wasn't a national security (i.e., read: democrat job security) issue while Hillary was "winning". Another LOL - Hillary was never winning. Occam's razor. It was a leak, not some elaborate Russian-directed, conspiracy, nutjob theory.

Trump asserts that Hillary belongs in prison. But, is he now going to block the Justice Department from prosecuting Hillary for illegally accepting $58,000 in jewelry from the government of Brunei, and for the numerous other major crimes he has alleged that she committed: Start at 23:00, and note at 25:23 his comments about the $58,000 in jewelry she illegally accepted: m.youtube.com/watch?v=lwsMI9ZHLgY

It IS legal to accept such a gift, if protocol suggests it would be an insult to refuse it. As long as she turns the gift over to the GSA, it's quite OK. Apparently, she did. The Clinton (Crime) Foundation did, however, accept hundreds of millions from Islamic countries, including from the Sultan of Brunei. Oh... good grief.. that video is from last June! NEWSFLASH!!! The campaign is OVER.

I've read them and I weep for those fooled by this nonsense. A lot of speculation in those pages and distractions.
Saying we think the hacks “are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts” is far short of saying we have evidence that Russia has been responsible for the hacks. Maybe high-level officials would have authorized them if Russian hackers were responsible, but the DNI and DHS statement did NOT say there was evidence Russia was responsible.
On the other hand, the head of the organization which leaked the emails to the press – Julian Assange of Wikileaks – not only denied that it was the Russians, but has strongly and repeatedly hinted that the hacker was a DNC insider.
The question isn't, "Did Russia Hack the DNC"?
The question is why are so many people falling for it?

Since the campaign is over, does Hillary gets a free pass from Trump for the major crimes that she committed?

The question is why are so many people falling for it? Those supposedly "fooled by this nonsense" were America's top intelligence analysts and FBI investigators. They have studied all of the evidence that fortunately will never see the light of day. And, you know better? You will twist the truth until it is unrecognizable in order to rationalize your warped political perspective.

Since the campaign is over, does Hillary gets a free pass from Trump for the major crimes that she committed If I were President? No. But, Trump has apparently decided that she does.... at least, for now. It's a decision for which he has been given much praise. Circumstances could change, if/when new evidence comes to light. Hillary LOST... that's pretty much the worst thing we do to politicians.... unless they are Republicans, of course. I'd put her on trial. Let the chips fall where they may. Could the left possibly be more irate if we did? I doubt it.

I had hopes that Trump would end the practice of one system of justice for the rich, powerful and connected, and another for the rest of us.

Being that he IS a "rich and powerful, and connected"... maybe that wasn't quite such a high priority? There was a TON of pressure from all the establishment types to "let that go"... Maybe, it's not the best hill to die on. He still has many other good things he CAN accomplish... I remain optimistic.
