There are many truly interesting matchups in the Sweet 16 coming up... but of the 8 games, is there ANY more intriguing than the UCLA-Kentucky game?
I don't think so.... but, I admit that I am hopelessly biased.
This game will feature at least 6, maybe 7 or 8 players who will be drafted by the NBA in a few months. You KNOW it's a game that will be played UP TEMPO, ABOVE the rim. Who doesn't want to see this?
I'm SUPER PUMPED! As I've stated here before.... I think Kentucky WINS this shootout, going away. After that? I make no prediction. But, we're going to enjoy this PAYBACK over a lesser team.

Still scratching my head as to why they are actually playing these 'Marquis Matchup' type games when they can simply get a non NCAA committee to hold a beauty contest vote and automatically place 4 teams into the final four. That makes so much more sense.

Since I have Arizona beating UCLA in my finals I'll be going against UK in this one. I think the Ball kid is a game changer (despite his father) but that Fox kid on UK is pretty special too. If one of those two get in foul trouble, the other team definitely has the advantage. I wouldn't mind seeing a repeat of the game played in Rupp earlier this year.

I had Florida State vs. UCLA in the finals...with UCLA winning so what exactly constitutes a busted bracket? half of my bracket is gone, but my National Champion pick is still alive

They only lost by 25 to a #11 seed ! Seriously, i work at Xavier, go to all the home games and I have no idea who that team was that beat FSU on Saturday night - I just hope they show up in San Jose tomorrow and Saturday!

It could get ugly, if the Malik Monk Funk continues. I'm hoping his back is feeling better.
One thing for sure... there will be some TALENTED freshmen on the floor.

No need to do that Hen. It's basketball. They have Plenty of time.
Of course, this means... no one gives a crap about the regular season games, or even the conference tournaments. There is a price to pay for this super-inclusive tourney format.

Regardless of time, regular season, conference tournaments or anything else...when it comes to team sports championships, VOTING is far superior to PLAYING and I'd like the rest of the sports world to realize this before I expire.

Voting? Never thought of that - what an interesting idea. You may be on to something there, Hen...

I think you might have meant to say: "You may be on something there, Hen... "
Likely closer to the truth.

I Hope you all bet BIG money on this game.... I TOLD you UK was going to beat UCLA, going away. Monk showed up again tonight.... And Fox continued to dominate. This team can win it all.
But, I am VERY worried about the UNC game. THEY want revenge.... And, I fear a Freshman let down after this big win.
But, how can you NOT be UP for the #1 seed?
go CATS!!
and, Go Gators! Let s see an All SEC Final!!
