PLEASE NOTE - THE CAROLINA/LSU GAME HAS BEEN MOVED TO BATON ROUGE. NOT SURE HOW THIS WILL IMPACT THE LINE, BUT I'M SURE IT WILL! LET'S ELIMINATE THAT GAME FROM THE SLATE AND SIMPLY PICK 5 FROM THE REMAINING 9.

Here are my picks for the week...
Northwestern +7.5 - Defense will be the name of this game as both teams have dominated on that side of the ball. I can see a 17-13 game and if that's the case, Northwestern is the pick.
California +9 - Jason Goff will test the Utah defense, Cal isn't Michigan or an Oregon team with Locke at QB. Goff very well could be the first player taken in the NFL draft. I like Cal to score enough to keep it close.
Alabama +16.5 - Arkansas is going to be severely out coached because the guy on their side will be too busy worrying about who Ohio State is playing.
Iowa -11 - I think Illinois is the worst 4-1 team in the country.
FSU -9 - Tallahassee is the next stop on the Al Golden Farewell Tour. Cincinnati beat the 'Canes by 11 with a freshman QB making his first ever start.

They put so much into it...a couple of years at least...hard to recover from that much of an emotional letdown.
Could cause multiple losses.
