I'm a bit surprised that Ohio State made it - they lost 4 of their last 5 and the only win was over Indiana. Clemson has only themselves to blame - I was watching their game against NC State last week and the had an 18 point lead - I thought they were in total control. Of course I found out later they lost - that loss probably cost them the bid. (Of course, NC State was also left out).

Why bother watching? Championship will either be Duke vs. North Carolina or Duke vs. Kentucky
Everyone else is just fodder

Clemson and Texas both similar, they look good on paper and by the metrics, but didn't prove it on the court. Clemson is 2-15 in one possession games over the last 3 years. That's a huge statistical anomaly. That's the knock on Brownell...his teams can't close. At some point, it's not on the players or the refs (like it was against NCST). Refs called 2 fouls on Clemson in the first 19:20 of the 2nd half and then 4 fouls in the last 40 seconds...

What will they do with their new affirmative action hire?

And there Rick Barnes sits with his new team as a #2 seed - funny how things work sometimes.
CPA - I seem to recall a Clemson player from a few years back getting kicked out of the first game of the NCAA tournament for punching an opposing player, do you remember this incident?

Might be funny, but... not many Longhorn fans are laughing.
Oh well, our baseball team looks promising this year.

Same with Barnes at Clemson - he went to the Dance 3 out of 4 years

It was Terrence Oglesby against Michigan in 2009 - he intentionally elbowed an opposing player sand got kicked out of the game. Michigan went on to win. It was during the Oliver Purnell era - Oliver coached Dayton prior to Clemson.

Can UVA possibly lose to a 16 seed two years in a row? 36-30 Garner-Webb at the half.
