About a 3.5 % chance a wide receiver would win a Hypesman. Only 3 in the 84 year history of the award ( Johnny Rodgers, Tim Brown and Desmond Howard ) I remember Rodgers as more a running back and kick returner.

You're killing me with this Desmond Howard question. BTW, P Dub was a complete and total bust in the NFL - one of the worst draft picks in Bengals history behind David Klingler...and Akili Smith...and VaGina Carter...and David Pollack...and Dre Kirkpatrick...and Big Daddy Wilkinson...and David Verser...and.... So what? It's a college award and reflects how they played in college. I think most Heisman winners are busts in the NFL if you think about it Jalen Ramsey has turned into an all-pro corner in the NFL, should he have gotten some Heisman votes? Mark Ingram won over Julio Jones and they were on the same team. Julio Jones is light years better than Ingram, because in the NFL they have QBs that can utilize him. I just think it's apples and oranges

I just think it’s hyped up media blitz totally corrupt voting
I don’t remember the last time I watched a Heisman ceremony.

Reading some of what writer/voters are saying already, it's Tua's to lose.
You know, revenge tour and all that. ESPN is hyping this as well.
TL and ETN might both get to NY, but I'll be surprised if either wins it.
Texas A&M gives Clemson it's only chance at a national "Heisman moment". But I bet this year, the media will say, you can't win a Heisman in September.
The narrative changes each year - Lamar Jackson ("Heisman's are won in September", etc).

(sorry Hero, missed this the first time) All summer we had stories like: Dabo is the Villain of College Football Dabo Won't Give Bryant a Ring (NCAA Rules prohibit it, and Bryant said he had not earned one) Clemson Won't Get Back to CFP - Too Complacent Dabo Tries to Push His Religious Beliefs on Players Clemson gets more airtime on the SEC Network than 3/4ths of the teams actually in the SEC.

Clemson is the defending national champion. Clemson is ranked number one. Clemson has won multiple national championships. Yesterday Urban Meyer said TL is the best college QB TO EVER PLAY THE GAME. Enjoy being the target. Learn to see all that nonsense as SPITBALLS AT A FREAKING BATTLESHIP. They hate you cause they ain’t you. Learn to walk with the swagger YOU HAVE EARNED. Take the po’ us card out of your deck because when it comes to Clemson there ain’t no po’ us. Wear your target with pride. Enjoy every step and every single day.
