I think someone will knock them off...it happens to all really good teams all the time
2018 Alabama was the most recent example...a really good team just has a bad game and runs into another good team that wants it more
2014 Alabama maybe as well. I don't think anyone knew Ezekial Elliot was that great of a runner
2006 Ohio State ran into Florida
The ESPN greatest team ever 2005 USC ran into Texas. Anyone with half a brain though knew Texas was something special that year
2004 Oklahoma ran into a buzzsaw
2002 Miami...the end of one of greatest runs in college football
2000 FSU
1992 Miami
It happens alot. Just because you're the best doesn't mean you always win. Clemson will be one of the best this year, but someone will catch them on the off day. Maybe it's a Miami in the ACC Championship game. Maybe it's a Georgia or LSU in the playoff

Very true.
Nearly happened last year with "Cuse. Trevor got knocked out of the game, and Brice had to converted a 4th down to score on that last drive.
The odds are decidedly against going undefeated in any given year, much less 2 years.
Outside of Texas A&M or potentially SC, I don't see many challenges for the Tigers in the regular season, or ACCCG.

Since 1950 only 14 teams have put together winning streaks of 25 games or more - most recently UCF the past 2 seasons. Clemson might need to put together another 15-0 season to repeat. That would put them in pretty rare air. Honestly, they could probably lose to an out of conference game and still make the playoff - no so sure about a conference game.
