Utah State not scared of LSU, but LSU stretches lead right before half.
Kansas scored first and is slowing OK down some, compared to other teams.
Whisky and Penn State in early blowouts
Surprises:
Mich leads Iowa and TT leads OKST, both at the half.

Sooners were very lucky not to be down 14-7 in the second quarter. KY player drop an easy pick 6. OU went on to score, thanks to a bogus late hit penalty.
And, of course.... Les Miles made a few really stupid calls.

Florida is VERY boring to watch, but they do a few things right:
1) They play solid defense 2) They don’t commit a bunch of penalties, or dumb plays and 3). They make big plays when they need it.
Mullen is a pretty solid coach.

West Virginia hung in for a while, but Texas is pulling away now... thanks to the defense.
Longhorns have to be full of confidence heading into the Red River Shootout.

Hokies-Canes putting on a show
At one point it was a blow out, with the Hokies up 35-7
Miami makes a comeback, has a chance to go up 36-35, but kicker misses the extra point, so its tied

I wonder how GG is feeling right now? Pretty darn good, I expect. Also, probably a bit worried about having the face LSU next week. Auburn, then LSU.. in back to back weeks. Beat #7, then face #5... and #3 is coming up 2 weeks later. Nah, there's NO 'SEC gauntlet'. lol

Auburn and LSU represent 16% of Florida's regular season schedule - no more no less.
Towson and Tenn-Martin represent 16% of Florida's regular season schedule - no more no less.
Lots of FBS coaches would love to feast on FCS teams ( at home) for 50% of the non conference schedule.

Back to back games against top teams in the country are very hard on ANY team. It's takes a toll both physically and emotionally. EVERY team has their share of cupcakes. Most teams go all season without having to play back-to-back games against teams like Auburn and LSU... to be followed by UGA two weeks later. Ohio State sure won't be doing it. It matters. I'll be VERY impressed (and surprised) if Florida can run this gauntlet. If they somehow manage it, their prize will be an SEC title game against Bama, or a very tough rematch. Yippee.
