Yet another BLACK EYE for the NFL in prime time last night.
It was an entertaining game. The Lions came to play, and they weren't running "three yards and a cloud of dust". They played well enough to BEAT the Packers last night. The Refs had other ideas.
There were a SERIES of horrible calls late in that game, ALL went against the Lions.
Hard to deny that the "FIX was IN" last night at Lambeau.
NOTE: also, I predict Booger McFarland won't be a lead announcer on ESPN for long. He was completely honest with his depiction of the bogus penalties. The NFL brass is NOT going to like that. PLus, he's a crappy announcer.

The NFL had a bowl of ice cream and had to decide between adding hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry or dropping a big politically correct turd in the middle of it. I was not impressed with their decision. They are doing much better than I would like. Well... to be fair, the PLAYERS were the ones to drop the Turd in the Sundae... (So many great puns there!) The NFL had to decide between; a) Pissing off their talent, or b)Pissing off their fans. They tried to split the difference. It hasn't worked. But, I actually think they've solved the Kneeling issue, on a nationwide basis, by NOT SHOWING it on TV. TV ratings have recovered. But, people attending the games can still see it. And, they're choosing not to attend. Is that because of the kneeling? Or, a result of a SHITTY product. SO MANY bad team, playing BAD games... TOO MANY teams, with not enough talent. Quality of play is WAY down. And now we have woke, Steve Kerr, Steph Curry and last night LeBron all singing the praises of communist China for the NBA.

PLus, he's a crappy announcer. I only watched about 10 minutes of the NFL this weekend... I turned on the last minute of the Cowboys-Jets....there were literally 5-6 flags within that minute I watched some of the Lions-Packers game before I fell asleep, and wake up to more controversial reffing IMO, the NFL is a broken product the Ref flagfests have made the NFL unwatchable...it's not fun to see 22 guys on a field walk 15 yards in one direction and then walk 10 yards the other all game long
