Here are some early thoughts...
OU (as well as OSU and Clemson) should be concerned at how well LSU did against Bama and Georgia defenses
I don't think Oklahoma has anything on defense to show any resistance to LSU's offense
I haven't really been impressed with Hurts at Oklahoma. I think he is going to struggle vs. the LSU defense. He is prone to making mistakes, and made a lot vs. Baylor and TCU.
The LSU defense isn't lights out like they have been in the past, but they do have playmakers, and they will get after Hurts.
Oklahoma had a great season, but they are the weak link in the playoffs. It's a big mismatch
LSU is going to stomp this team. Hurts is going to feel some hurt

Hurts has the experience - he’s been there before.
Oklahoma’s D is much improved versus last year. This could turn into a Big 12 game.
LSU is big and strong on defense.

No sense for Oklahoma showing up either, Evil has this all figured out...

ESPN gave LSU credit for just lining up correctly in the past few weeks. They were playing some of the SLOWEST football teams in the NCAA in Jimbo’s A&M scheme, and UGA’s broken down bus of an offense minus their best 2 WRs and their RB.
I expect OK's speed to stress that defense. Yards will be there for Hurts.
Good matchups betrween LSU's strong DBs and Lamb / Rambo.

This decade, of the total 1263 FBS teams/offenses, only 3 have averaged over 8 yards per play: - 2017 Oklahoma - 2018 Oklahoma - 2019 Oklahoma But, LSU has an offense that's "never been seen before."

Final thoughts before the Peach Bowl- Oklahoma has lost key starters on defense, Jalen Hurts is NOT as good as Baker Mayfield or Kyler Murphy, and I think the Sooners get run out of the building today
Interesting stat: Oklahoma has NEVER played in Atlanta. They are in hostile territory today

Jalen Hurts has been there before and was a Heisman candidate this year. If he can limit his turnovers, I like their chances.

First game is not going to be a good one. I think LSU will blow out the Sooners. I sure hope so, anyway.... since,
1) I HATE Oklahoma, and 2) I want to focus on the UK vs Louisville BBall game.
Geaux TIGERS!!

...and the NFL has an interest in Lincoln Riley ? Zero game plan and adjustments. Jalen is a nice kid but won't get drafted, imo. Maybe not even a free agent invite. LSU - a genuine WOW team !

OU defense was decimated BEFORE losing Murray, their best player.
They have no answer for Burrow.
