Definitely looking forward to this one.
Does Michigan stand a chance? I think Alabama is going to be mad mad and want to prove a point

It should be fun. All the Ohio State Fans have to pull for Bama too. I don’t like the trend of skipping the bowl games but I guess we may see some of that.

I saw a projection that has 8 Alabama players selected in the first round - how many of them will play? Michigan has some receivers who may leave early - Peoples-Jones and Collins, will they play. If Mettelus plays I'm taking Alabama and however many points they may be giving.

The last time Alabama played Michigan was 2012, and they blew out the Wolverines 41-14
The last bowl game was the 2000 Orange Bowl. Michigan won that one 35-34. Bonus points for anyone that can name the Bama running back that year.
I think Bama is going to bring down the hammer in this one. Big 10 schools that live by the physical football code (usually Wisconsin, Michigan, Mich St.) tend not to do well against Alabama. Alabama is bigger and faster and more talented at usually every position. Michigan State discovered this in the playoff a few years ago.
Saban's approach to the game will be interesting. Will they go in with a chip on their shoulder, ready to take the frustration of their season out on TTUN? Probably.
Or maybe Saban could lighten up and just let the players play and party? Probably not.

The goat has only been able to win 61% of his post season games so I think he'd try hard to improve on that

Michigan fans torched John Cooper for a similar end-of-year record (UM and bowl games) so I’m pretty happy that they get to experience similar futility. Serves them right.
