There are 3 FCS games today, however.

When you watch Army-Navy just consider that every player on the field is intelligent and also a college student. How rare is that for FBS football ?

Served in the Air Force and worked with Army troops....I can assure you they arent all intelligent!  that said I love every single one of them. Army v Navy the only game where every player on the field is willing to give their lives for you |

Army 'troops' are not the same as USMA cadets...common knowledge. That's what I'm referring to, not enlisted men...jeez.
You don't get admitted to or appointed to the service academies if you're dumb...no matter how fast you might run 40 yards or how many lbs you bench press.

Could be fixed with one year of mandatory military service. |

The Air Force commonly calls easy task the common Joe can do "Army Proof" The Army commonly calls the Air Force the "Chairforce" Marines are Crayon eaters nothing I said was meant to be taken personal...… all in good fun Bluehen |

[br I will say this though Bluehen, when discussing College Football and smarts be sure not to necessarily equate book smarts and actual intelligence. Yes if there are guys playing Div. I football whom cant read at a third grade level that's a problem, but there are plenty of dumb young men with a high GPA and a degree too. You can be a book smart and make stupid decisions, you can be book smart and lazy you can have a low GPA and be intelligent because your family never put much emphasis on education. Lot of factors play into those GPA's my friend. That said I absolutely agree with you on the service academies and the discipline problems in the country |
