Sure Texas had a disappointing season compared with their lofty expectations, but I think Texas will be extremely motivated to win this game. This should be essentially a home game as well. Beating Utah will leave a positive mark on the 2019 chapter of Longhorn football and give hope for 2020. None of the Longhorn losses were bad losses. They lost to two playoff teams and some good, competitive conference teams.
Utah should be mad as well, pretty much blowing a chance at the playoff with a blowout by Oregon. Texas might not be elite this year, but they're still a big name school. Utah will be motivated to end the season on a good note.
Prediction: With all that said, I think Texas wins a hard fought game. Oregon exposed some serious flaws with the Utes, and I think Tom Herman and the bevos will exploit that. They beat Georgia last year, and this year they'll take down the Utes.

Utah sure fizzled out at season's end but good win for Herman Agree, that defense played lights out sure didn't show up in the last 2 games. I took the family out to a specialty burger place here in Greenville for drinks and grub, and we watched the first half of the game at the restaurant.

It was sure good to see so many missing players back on the field.
Injuries really crushed the Longhorns this year. We just don’t have the depth to sustain 3/4 injuries at the same position.
Horns looked fired up last night. I expected a win, and was able to get a nice payout from our nearby Indiana casino that now allows sports betting.

I remember fiddle jamming there several years ago on a summer night with a nice appreciative crowd gathered around.
