Refereeing really looking shaky The targeting ruling was kind of weak on the Clemson LB....if it's not head to head, so what if he leads with the crown of his helmet....I thought it was solely based on if it was head to head Nevertheless, the physicality starting to take a toll on both teams For what its worth I dont like the fact a player gets ejected for a targeting call.Maybe two not on the first one......however that was a textbook crown of the helmet tackle. If you're gonna call that against the Buckeyes in favor of Clemson, you'd better call that against Clemson when their player tackles with the crown of the helmet as well.

Horrible play calling by Clemson on offense tonight.
Run ETN dammit!
Elliot always gets scared and throws too much.

Agree, no separation in the routes in 2nd half and Trevor was not dialed in. Credit the LSU defensive halftime adjustments.

Yep, ETN carries 4 of 5 plays on Clemson's TD drive in 3rd quarter. Next 4 drives, he carries ONCE! He was averaging 6 yards per carry.

Great game..... Two really good teams.
The PI on Higgins was total crap. That was a TD. Doubt it changed much though, except maybe for people playing the spread.

Hats off to the Bengal Tigers. What a magnificent season.
EV get out and buy yourself some championship gear. You deserve to celebrate.

Fun game but not quite the last play drama of the NCAA championship game. Had to sneak that in

Fun game but not quite the last play drama of the NCAA championship game. Had to sneak that in That poor kid from JMU - throws interceptions on the final play of a championship game in back to back season.

Great game..... Two really good teams. The PI on Higgins was total crap. That was a TD. Doubt it changed much though, except maybe for people playing the spread. Not that it changes the ultimate outcome, but was a bad call, HOWEVER, I see why the ref called it...Higgins back was to the ref, so from his vantage point, it looked like OPI with Higgins pushing. DB clearly interfered first without turning head to the ball. Blind side block penalty was iffy as well. P-12 refs don't like physical football. Clemson did not come with their A-game last night. Poor offensive playcalling / play selection - gotta keep drives going against LSU - cannot give extra posessions Trevor had his worst passing night of his career - credit LSU for such tight coverages - 10+ overthrows - is he injured? It was clear he was off, for whatever reason - after first quarter looked like he was throwing a lot of side-armed passes DT pickney injured at practice and DNP - big loss at DT/NG, especially playing 3-man fronts Rush DE Xavier Thomas - disciplinary issues - I think Clemson missed on this guy, but I'll give him more time to develop Venables not adjusting to LSU's slot-fade attack all night - left Terrell and Kendrick alone with no help - Terrell got completely worked all night Skalski lost to targeting - this was probably the biggest killer ETN's last run came at 1:33 in the 3rd qtr. All that said, LSU had a great season and earned the win last night.

Also think our D line dominance and lack of pass rush form DL finally caught up to us.

At least we cost Burrow the season % completion - 63% against us, so Colt McCoy still the highest ever at 76.7%
