My sister had this on Facebook....
First concert - Average White Band, freshman year in college. Last concert - Kacey Musgraves, beautiful voice and great songs. Pretty easy to look at, too. Best Concert - Paul McCartney, a trip down memory lane in one amazing evening. Worst concert - Patty Smith, planned to leave after Because the Night, she played it last. Horrible.
Loudest concert - Queen, flashbombs going off all over the place - Freddie was an entertainer! Seen the most - Queen, saw them 4 times in college. Most surprising concert - Prince, tremendous showman and musician. Next concert - I guess we'll see Wish I had seen - AC/DC Glad I saw - Stevie Wonder, he played the entire Songs in the Key of Life album - it was spectacular.

Best Concert - Either AC/DC in DC, ELO at Radio City or Paul McCartney in DC. Saw ELO back in about 1980 - they were pretty entertaining, loved their version of Roll Over Beethoven! May try to see Hall and Oates this summer. I've seen them a coupe times and they're pretty good - guy can still sing! Wanted to see Elvis Costello when he came through a couple months ago but we had a conflict with the date. The Dixie Chicks were very good when I saw them a couple years ago - they didn't get political which was nice, they're extremely talented!
I had a chance to see AC/DC when I worked for UC College of Engineering. My best friend there (and running partner) was a professor in Industrial Engineering and one of his former students was the mastermind behind AC/DC's stage show - lights, electronics, everything. The former student invited my friend and a guest to the show and get a back stage pass, meet the band, and all. He invited me but for some reason which I can't recall, I couldn't do it. He said they were all about 5 foot tall and he left shortly after the show started because it was too loud. He was from Iran so it probably wasn't his genre of music!

First concert - Not counting County Fair concerts, I'd say John Denver, in Houston, freshman year of High School Last concert - Faith Hill & Tug McGraw. Was AWESOME Best Concert - Tough one... but, I'm going to say Bruce Springsteen, not long after Born to Run album came out. He played, non-stop, for 4+ hours. Three encores. I was a BIG fan at the time. Queen in Houston in 1977 is a close 2nd. Worst concert - Kiss. My girlfriend wanted to see them. ugh. They were AWFUL. Only saving grace was, STYX was their warmup band. They played songs from The Grand Illusion, which was fantastic. Special category: Worst Concert I ever WORKED at. (I worked as an usher at the Drum, at UT... saw a bunch of concerts that way). The WORST was The Beach Boys. For starters, the ENTIRE concert was lip sung to a recording. They didn't play anything live all night. ALL the people in the audience were DRUNK (as opposed to normal crowds that were high)… and, they ALL wanted to dance. As an Usher, I'm supposed to keep the aisles clear, fire regs, ya know. It was awful. One super hot girl barfed on me while kissing on my neck. Instant "de-boner".
Loudest concert - AC/DC couldn't hear for days Seen the most - Genesis. 5 times. First time was in 1977, at Sam Houston Coliseum, a place famous for WWF. Tiny place. Maybe 2000 people attended? Last time was 2007 in Munich, at Olympic Stadium. Most surprising concert - Billy Joel. Guy is a tremendous showman and puts on a great live performance. Next concert - none planned. Wish I had seen - Andrea Bocelli. Would love to see him, but... it's just SO DAMNED expensive. Glad I saw - Queen That Houston concert was taped. They show it prominently in the documentary programs about Queen. I was there, with my girlfriend and my best friend. Ground level, sitting (standing) just to the side of the guys controlling the sound. Interesting place to be.

Wow, nothing worse than that! Haven't seen Billy Joel but did see Elton which was a lot better than I thought it would be. He opened with Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding - awesome start to 3 hours of hit songs. And fortunately he played Rocket Man for about 10 minutes which gave me ample time to hit the bathroom during what I consider one his more boring tunes.

The song I can't stand is Bennie & the Jets. Ugh.... Elton has written several songs that I consider in the running for BEST EVER... but, he's written a few klunkers too.

Levon, Madman Across the Water, Your Songalmost anything on Goodbye Yellow Brick Road are my favorites. Tiny Dancer I like - used well in Almost Famous. Do you know the song Amorena from the Tumbleweed Connection album? Really like that song, it was the opening song for the movie Dog Day Afternoon.

First concert - Guns N Roses/Metallica at the Astrodome in the early 90s Last concert - Tool/Primus a few years ago Best Concert - So many nominations here... Rush R40 tour in 2015 Soundgarden/Nine Inch Nails Tool at Daytona Beach Worst concert - Social Distortion...too much Tequila and almost blacked out Queensryche...gf at the time said the smoke was too much. 5 minutes after we arrived Loudest concert - Guns N Roses at Reliant Stadium. I don't think you guys would have a clue of the performers I'd be talking about if I answered the survey.
