Yesterday’s game was horrrible.
Not just in terms of the outcome, but Clemson may have lost its top 3 defensive players and RB1 for the season.
This team is going 6-6.
And, it’s all on the coaches. We have 8 walk on WRs taking up scholarships and only 1 competent OL.
This is not a hot take, this has been simmering among the trophies.
The Buckeyes looked like they were supposed to vs Akron……. I’m not saying they’ve figured things out…… but of all the Power five powerhouses whom haven’t quite looked right in 2021 they might be starting to figure things out and back to playing Buckeye football……. Then again it was against Akron.
-Clemson lost yesterday in a game that feels like more than 1 loss, due to the defensive players whom got hurt…… I agree if the Tigers don’t
Get things figured out offensively it could be a 4 loss season. If Boston College finished unbeaten do they get playoff consideration?
-Arkansas looks amazing and I’m calling it now they will beat Alabama or Georgia……. I’m not sure that they’ll finish with only one SEC loss because their schedule is brutal and that will likely knock them out of SEC title competition but they will beat one of the conference goliaths
- People were complaining about the same 4 college football teams every year in the playoff…… this year feels much like 2007. I don’t feel like there is one single dominant team in college football this year and can traditional powers are a little off
- My projected playoff right now
Alabama v Texas
Penn State v Oregon
Ohio State is a sleeper and I feel like the winner of OSU-PSU will be in the playoff, also don’t sleep on Florida coming out of the SEC East .feel like at some point Oklahoma is gonna get tagged and they are on borrowed time. I also feel like at some point Oregon is gonna get caught sleeping
-Notre Dame’s defense is improving and I expect them to knock the Bearcats out of the playoff this week
BYU will make a real run at the playoff and will be unbeaten heading into the USC game
Absolutely NO ONE thinks of Ohio State in terms of a "sleeper"...Ohio State is a prime player, and the Buckeyes are going to have a bullseye on their back every game. The problem for the Buckeyes is the Big 10 East looks pretty competitive this year....what are the odds the Buckeyes can run the table? I think they get tagged again someone down the road. The Big 10 East will be a dogfight each and every week
Oklahoma is squeeking by inferior competition. I think Texas might punch them in the mouth this year.
Notre Dame has too many tricky ACC games...I think they lose at some point. But will they still get by with 1 loss? They might have some wiggle room
