OK, more of a discrepancy in resources in the old days ? That's plausible and worth researching. Good discussion, Bevo.

OK, more of a discrepancy in resources in the old days ? That's plausible and worth researching. Good discussion, Bevo. Sure.... I know it was still tough when two powerhouse teams met up against one another. And, there were several. I just THINK there was even more imbalance than we see today. It's a question worth studying. Might be all wrong. Maybe, they were MORE balanced, because NO ONE spent a lot? Just my assumption.

I know that in Rockne's time the Ivy League was all dominant in CF. I believe Harvard and Yale still have the most mythical/pretend national titles. They were very academically fraudulent, just like today's top powers, suiting up what were called 'ringers' back then (phony 'student' athletes)

Recent NCAA news - they plan to eliminate minimum test scores for "student"-athletes....all a part of the Racial Equity Force...
Ugh.
This will further mask the failures of public education in this country.
