I read through it. If the argument is that Biden is anti-fossil fuels, anti-energy, whatever you want to call it, it is a good resource. If it is a list of how Biden has caused gas prices to increase, 90% of it is irrelevant. Remind me how BBB has caused gas prices to increase? The argument that Biden was killing poor people because he has caused gas prices to increase. Surely sane people can agree that that is just hyperbole and blind Biden hate? You understand hyperbole??? All evidence to the contrary.

Keep in mind that with the new epa regulations on coal, many of these plants are just choosing to shut down. There will be a total of 15 plants that shutdown in 2021 and 2022 with many more to follow. This industry accounts for 20% of the energy consumed in this country. These are all decision made by our government to move to clean energy. In the short term you can expect you electricity prices to go through the roof and don't count out the fact that rolling blackouts may come through your town as well. I’m not sure what this has to do with gas prices, but you don’t have to be a tree hugger or even a liberal to understand the benefits of regulating coal or the neurotoxic heavy metals that burning it can release. The irony is the generation that was brain damaged from heavy metal use, such as leaded gasoline, doesn’t seem to care about regulating heavy metal pollution. Who care as long as my electric bill doesn’t go up? I have no problem calling BS on bad environmental regulations, and there are plenty of them, but I’m perfectly fine paying more for electricity if it means there is less heavy metal pollution that goes along with it.

Germans, looking at the real possibility of power outages, disagree with you. They are re-commissioning closed coal power plants and postponing planned shutdowns of nuclear plants.
What a bitter pill.

What a bitter pill. Germans disagree with me, that I don’t mind paying more for electricity if it means less heavy metal pollution?

Clearly, yes: they’re firing up coal plants.
They’re making tough decisions; real, present risk vs minuscule long-term risks

Clearly, yes: they’re firing up coal plants. They’re making tough decisions; real, present risk vs minuscule long-term risks Glad to know the Germans disagree that I am personally willing to pay more for electricity which results in less heavy metal pollution. I should ask them what my favorite food is so I can have that for dinner tomorrow. They better not say schnitzel. But if you want to force an argument, they do regulate mercury emissions. So at least some Germans are also willing to pay more for less mercury pollution. Using coal in uncertain times doesn’t mean they disagree that various pollution controls are worth paying for. We’ve come a long way from my original question that started this though: where does Sandy Hook fall in that list of hoaxes that was posted?

What a bitter pill. Gee, if only *someone* had predicted this earlier....*someone* was laughed at when this was predicted and said Germans would be buying coal from Putin.
