Round 1 tonight.
I'm seeing many reports that Texas RB, Bijan Robinson might go at #10, to the Eagles. Man, that would be a GREAT fit for him. They have the best O-line. They have a great offense for him. He is practically guaranteed to have a great pro career. His is prototypical for the NFL. Great combination of size/speed/skill and grit. He can catch, he can run, but... most importantly, he has HEART. He's a gamer.
I can't wait to see where he goes. I just pray it's a place where he has a chance to succeed. No better option anywhere than Philly.

I'm also liking what the Jets are building...

No way the Texans will get Bryce... unless someone does something really stupid.

Damnit. Bijan to the Falcons. That’s a death sentence
Whatever were the Lions thinking drafting a RB? They have three already. They can’t play them all.
Have mercy

Texans get CJ Stroud and Will Anderson Not too shabby I have no faith in Stroud. I don’t think he’s a significant upgrade over what they have. The Texans have many far more pressing needs, IMO The way CJ Stroud played against Georgia he is a significant upgrade….. my fear if I were a Texans fan was that I didn’t see that version of CJ consistently. I CJ played lie did in the Peach Bowl against Georgia the Buckeyes are back to back Big Ten champs…… he just didn’t show it enough for me to take him at 3.

I agree with you, CJ played well in the Peach Bowl. But, I watched him all year. I was firmly convinced HE was the main reason the Buckeyes didn't win it all last year. I know his stats were good. But, he didn't scare me. He might have had the best WR corps in college football history. David Mills has been at least as good as a few QB 's I've seen win the Super Bowl. He's no Mahomes, that's for sure. But, he's improved both years he played. He literally had NO ONE to throw to last year. And the O-line was pathetic.... as was the defense... especially against the run. If you can't stop the run, you have NO SHOT in the NFL. The Texans are a BAD football team. I might be wrong, it's hard to be sure with NFL-bound QB's... but, I don't see Stroud as being good enough to lift a BAD team. He was BAD enough to sink a GREAT team. Well, that's not fair... I wish Texas could "SINK" as far as Ohio State did last year. I'm not down on him though, as much as I think it was just the wrong long-term move for the Texans. I would have taken one of several GREAT lineman, offense or defense with those first two picks and not given away the farm to get Will Anderson. Heck... take Will or Paris Johnson at #2, and that big OT from Georgia at #12... and SAVE the picks. I was a little surprised to not see Will Levis not get drafted at all in Round 1. Not shocked... but, surprised. I was really high on him at the beginning of last year. He regressed. Ask any Kentucky fan: He was NOT as good last year as he was the year before. He still showed a lot of grit. UK's line got wiped out with injuries and they don't have the depth to have outstanding backups. Levis made a lot of BONE HEAD plays. Watching him last year, my wife and I often said to each, "He reminds me of that guy we used to call 'Turf head'. Who was he??" We're getting older and have trouble remembering names. It was a QB I had on many fantasy teams. He had a ROCKET arm, but often played like he'd hit his head on the TURF a few too many times"..... I bet Hero knows who I'm talking about. He played for the Falcons in the Run&Shoot, so he was fantasy gold. He and Terrance Mathis won a title for me one year..... I had to look it up... scroll down for the answer... .. .. .. .. .. .. The password is: "Jeff George". .

Would any of you guys have desires to attend that event last night...... among 125,000 people, most over 100 yards from the stage ?
Maybe it's my age but I'll take TV coverage in the comfort of home.

No.. I wouldn't. I DID attend the draft once, at Madison Square Garden in NYC. My whole family was with me. It was really exciting and we all loved it. That was the year Michael Vick was drafted #1 overall. That event last night was a joke for people attending.

No way the Texans will get Bryce... unless someone does something really stupid. Texans get CJ Stroud and Will Anderson Not too shabby CJ Stroud was one of the most accurate passers I have ever seen at Ohio State. If he is able to move his feet in the NFL the way he did against UGA then he wil be a superstar. Only passer in college that I saw more accurate was Joe Burrow and I don't think he is far of from that.

Only 5 kids from the football championship division drafted in the first three rounds which truly indicates what I've been sad to see. The transfer portal and NIL enables the big bowl division programs to just simply 'buy' any talented kids that have been developed by the FCS programs.
