North Carolina. The Tar Heels have a history of not meeting expectations when they are high in the preseason. The Heels are ranked in the preseason top 25, darkhorses to win the ACC, potential Hiesman winner. History has shown that the Heels will have a mediocre season.

Alabama Ohio State USC
The expectations are always sky high for Alabama and Ohio State, but both have lost some ground, both start new QBs, and the schedules have gotten harder
USC is always a premier media darling, but the top of the PAC 12 is pretty loaded

LSU They had 4 losses last year and could have easily been 5. No way they finish in the top 5 this year. ttun They were hungry last year after the bowl embarrassment the year before. This year they are officially the hunted and fully expect some complacency until they can prove the be top 5 year after year.

I think they'll have challenging seasons, definitely But when I think of a team "falling on it's face", I think of a team like Texas A&M last year that started in the top 10, but then ended up 5-7 I don't know...I don't really see a team out there like that. Maybe a team like Oregon??

I’m glad to see no one saying “Texas”. 🤗
My pick is : Tennessee

Just reviewed a list of college teams showing the “% of production” from returning players.
The LOWEST two teams … by far, were:
Stanford at 35% overall, and Alabama at 40%
Texas was on the high side at 85%
These are “overall” rankings.
I’m not sure what to make of this data. I’ve never seen it listed this way. I think, it means Stanford is gonna suck this year.
For Bama? I’m not sure. When you’re #1 in recruiting every year, maybe this is normal? Doesn’t Bama have a VY clone coming at QB this year? It does seem like they’ve lost a TON of great players in the past couple of years.

I'm still a little skeptical of Prime's experiment.

Just to put this thread in perspective, what does it mean to have a team "fall on its face"?
Texas A&M preseason #6 falling all the way to 5-7 is the textbook example
Last year, we had these teams in the AP top 15:
#6 Texas A&M #7 Oklahoma #11 Oklahoma State #15 Miami FL
They finished: Texas A&M 5-7 Oklahoma 6-7 Oklahoma State 7-6 Miami FL 5-7
So definition: highly ranked preseason that turns into a dumpster fire by December
The nominated teams on this thread so far are Tennessee, LSU, and North Carolina. I could see these teams underachieving, but I think they have too much returning talent to just completely flame out and struggle to miss the bowl season
Utah is having some QB injury issues...that could possibly sink them if they linger on
I think TCU could slide back alot in a competitive Big XII
From my perspective, this season is more loaded then most seasons I've seen. You have a lot of teams that return a lot of good players.

I'm still a little skeptical of Prime's experiment. I’m not. His formula worked at the lower level. Why not now? Better players = Better coaching. Colorado will be BETTER! How much? We’ll see. But, 100%. They will be better

At least "Team Trump" is smart enough to post their comments in the correct thread.
