I love you guys but it amazes me how worked up everyone gets about these two guys who should be in a retirement community. November can't get here fast enough.

The way we choose a leader could not be more messed up if we actually TRIED to design an effed-up system. It's guaranteed to be ugly this year because, NEITHER SIDE trust the voting process to deliver accurate results. Unless, of course, their side wins.

Some kind of minimum voting eligibility standard is all that can save this system, imo. Sub 85 IQ types for example should not be deciding our nation's future, nor should HS drop outs, convicted criminals etc. Voting age should be 25 to 80, and to obtain a federal voting license one must pass an 8th grade level civics test. Better quality voters will spawn better quality public servants. To succeed in today's political climate politicians have to cater to mass dumbth....no good.

I'd take my chances with that kind of system...

How do we get this implemented without having everybody scream "racist"?

Trump's cases are getting dropped from Court calendars.
Word on the street is that Ed Meese (former AG) wrote an amicus brief for SCOTUS noting that Smith was unconstitutionally appointed by Merrick Garland.

Unfotunately the Dems will find a way to stop the vote and add the necessary ballots at 4 AM Wouldn't be the first time.

You trump fans have nothing to fear. His odds at the sports books are way better than Biden's. He's getting close to a lock.

I do think such minimum voting standards would disqualify substantial segments of people of all races and ethnicity .

I love you guys but it amazes me how worked up everyone gets about these two guys who should be in a retirement community. November can't get here fast enough. One of the two old people refused to peacefully transition power to the next president. Even if you argue he didn’t incite an insurrection, he did nothing to stop it as the sitting president. That person wants power again. It’s kind of a big deal. I don’t get worked up nor care much about presidential policy or elections, but this election isn’t about policy. It’s about voting against someone wants to completely undermine our democracy.

It’s about voting against someone wants to completely undermine our democracy. I have to come clean. I did find a tweet that OMB put out. He actually did do something to stop what some people call the insurrection. I was wrong and apologize for misleading you. "I know your pain, I know you're hurt. We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side. But you have to go home now. We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. We have to respect our great people in law and order. We don't want anybody hurt.
It's a very tough period of time. There's never been a time like this where such a thing happened where they could take it away from all of us — from me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election, but we can't play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens. You see the way others are treated that are so bad and so evil. I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace."

Nice of you to use a capital A to tell us apart. Or maybe you just aren’t very smart. Your retort is that Trump sent a tweet… three hours later. After sending other tweets that didn’t tell them to go home. As sitting president, Trump did nothing to stop it. He had more authority and means to stop it other than a tweet.
