Hero: "I have the complete set. " I start dropping hints a couple of months before Christmas each year. Hasn't worked yet... Can't wait when the complete set is around $30 on Amazon.

What are the best of all time ? Here are mine...
1. The Andy Griffith Show - only the black and white seasons with Barney Fife.
2. The Simpsons - the first 8 seasons are about as perfect as sitcoms get.
3. All In the Family - this show wouldn't make it today but it was perfect for the '70's. Wish we could laugh at ourselves like we could back then.
4. Seinfeld - I watch Seinfeld every night when I go to bed. I've probably seen every episode 10 times.
5. The Office - again, the first 4 or 5 seasons were awesome - when Steve Carell left it really went downhill.
Honorable mentions - Taxi, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Family Guy, Green Acres

Hogan's Heroes was awesome. You crazy people.
Worst sitcoms:
Homeboys in Outer Space The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer basically anything on UPN
Anybody who doesn't include Mama's Family on the list of best sitcoms can go to hell.

Best
MASH All in the Family Andy Griffith 70s Show - the older I get the more I become Red Foreman, plus Laura Prepon!! Fraiser - required a certain level of intelligence
Others good ones:
Cheers, American Dad, Simpsons, Curb your Enthusiasm
Bad:
Family Matters Webster Joanie lOves Chachi The Nanny Full House
All in the Family probably had the best and most successful spinoffs.

I didn't list the worst....
Facts of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Full House, Square Pegs (if for no other reason it launched the career of Sarah Jessica Parker). I have to admit I never watched Friends or Modern Family. A few guilty pleasures...The Brady Bunch (I was a young teenager at the time and had the hots for Marsha), The Tracey Ullman Show (The Simpsons are a spinoff of this show), Soap, The Beverly Hillbillies, Laverne and Shirley (should have been Lenny and Squiggy).
