That is too cute! What breed was Yogi? I don't recall ever seeing a dog quite like him. He was a Yorkie. (Yorkshire Terrier). A little bigger than some... He weighed about 8 pounds. My ancestors came from the Yorkshire area of England.... 400 years ago. But, still.... ;-)

I saw Yorkie in the vets office around 5 years ago that was the tiniest dog I have ever seen. A man was holding it in the palm of his hand. I asked how old it was, and its owner said that it was 15. I would have believed him if he had said 15 days. I asked if it was as teacup Yorkie. I was astounded when he told me that it was a regular Yorkie. It looked like it might have weighed a pound, at most. It was about the size of this dog: m.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ5576Pags4

Remember DOG spelled backward is GOD. Well... He sure thought he was a god. He once bit an Alaskan Malimut right on the nose. That dog weighed at least 10X Yogi.... He was fearless when it came to other dogs. Not so much with car rides. Coming home today from a 7 day cruise.... Going to be hard when we ente that empty, quiet house.

I know the feeling. I have been there.
If I make a quick trip to the supermarket, my dog greets me at the door as if I had been gone for a month. Super excited.
