Flip 128 coins 3 times each. The odds are that around 16 (12.5%) would come up heads each time.
So, on the face, 31 (24.2%) seems pretty good. The only way to know would be to compare this season after 3 games with previous seasons after 3 games.

Flip a coin, and the chance is 50% = 1/2 that it will be heads.
Flip a coin 2 times, and the chances are 50% x 50% = 25% = 1/4 that both times will be heads.
Flip a coin 3 times, and the chances are 50% x 50% x 50% = 12.5% = 1/8 that all 3 times will be heads.
1/8 x 128 equal teams = 16 winning their first 3 games. In that context, and understanding that all 128 teams are unequal, 31 teams winning their first 3 games seems to be a reasonable expectation.

With all things equal, 16 teams MOL should be expected to be undefeated after 3 weeks.
Understanding that all things are not equal, 31 undefeated teams after 3 weeks seems to be reasonable.
