FHF Please try to not corrupt my new thread with bullshit, meaningless RCP polls.... You can put those on the equally meaningless earlier thread. I predict that the RCP would instantly become the gold standard in your eyes (and Hero's and tigercpa's) if Trump ever takes the lead in either the polls or the Electoral College projections. Perhaps, even if Trump starts making reasonable progress in key battleground states.

Our history on this board says: People who post things as IGNORANT as this, don't stick around all that long. I hope you're the exception. My goodness, you are getting touchy, touchy! Do you question my assertion? I doubt it... you're not that ignorant. Obtuse, yes... but, usually not ignorant.

Do you question my assertion? Yes. You seem to have a big time problem dealing with the truth.

Trump will lose by an historic margin.

Trump will lose by an historic margin. It is mathematically possible that he could draw to an inside straight and win by a whisker, or he could lose by an historic margin. But, not quite by 520-17 (Nixon over McGovern) or 523-14 (Reagan over Mondale).

Have you ever asked why RCP averages its data? do you think skewed data might provide a skewed average? No. Yes. Therein lies the problem.

Their average of polls is a great indication of where the polls were three weeks ago. I pay attention to the trends on them. That's really the only value.

Any poll could be the gold standard if its methodology is truly scientific and random, and its weighting shave some appropriate anchor into reality. fwhen I see a poll that has Hillary +16 here in va, I get skeptical. When I look at the underlying and see the respondents have a 69% approval rating for Obama, I know the poll is pure bunk. when RCP includes these types of polls in their average, and/or polls from 7 weeks ago, we know the average is bunk. thats just the forensic accountant / auditor in me.

Trump's trip to Mexico was a home run. Then, he reversed much of the gains with his immigration speech. Did you watch his speech? Or, just read about it?
I saw it all... first time I've actually watched a Trump speech/rally in several months. He's gotten MUCH better.
Last night, was perfect. He hit all the right notes with the people that support him, and he presented a better image for the softer headed squishes in the middle.
Compared to the deadpan, flat speech that Hillary gave in Cincy yesterday?? It was night and day. No candidate, not even a lying, cheating, stealing Clinton can overcome that striking a difference in visuals alone.
It's over.
If Hillarys crowds get any smaller, they will seem like a Michelle Fields book signing.

There is no problem. The reason RCP averages polls is obvious to me. Therefore, I have no need to ask. I have high confidence that RCP does not select skewed polls. Although I answered yes, the premise of your question does not apply to RCP. A side note: opposing skewed polls could balance one another out.

Bevo: "Do you even know what assertion I was referring to?"
Yes, the inane one. Correction: the most recent inane one.

Yes, you have made yourself clear. Wrong, but clear.
