Here's your NCAA - late to the party, as always. The guidelines, coming as soon as next week, are a sign that the NCAA may begin deeper investigations into NIL-related pay, sources tell @sinow. “We let things get out of hand. We have to get [boosters] out of contacting recruits & bartering with them.” Yeah, boosters with bucket loads of cash around 18 year old boys...that's a great idea! NCAA...don't worry that all the horses are gone because we are formulating a plan and soon expect to close the barn door. Just trust us.

Clemson's D will be natty-caliber, probably raked #1-#5 at ends of season. The defense can field a two-deep front 7 roster with speed and strength at all positions.
Corner just needs to stay healthy, but with the departure of Goodrich and Booth, we are a little thin there.
The offense will determine how deep Clemson goes into the season. I think we may have a little deja vu @ QB though. It could be analogous to the Kelly Bryant / Trevor Lawrence situation where we have DJ and Klubnik. I think Dabo will have to find his starter by game 4.
DJ has lost about 25 lbs in the offseason, but still looked like a deer in headlights in the spring game.
Cabe Klubnik looked like Trevor, a freshman gunslinger with good wheels.

Swinney thinks college football’s current model is not sustainable, and he sees huge changes in the sport’s future.
“I think there’s going to be a complete blowup … especially in football, and there needs to be,” Swinney told ESPN’s Chris Low. “I think eventually there will be some type of break and another division. Right now, you got everybody in one group, and it’s not feasible. Alabama has different problems than Middle Tennessee, but we’re trying to make them all the same and it’s just not. I think you’ll have 40 or 50 teams and a commissioner and here are the rules.”
Swinney is far from the only person who believes the future of college athletics revolves around the Power Five conferences and a possible breakaway. One prominent college basketball coach has urged top schools to do the same on the basketball side.
West Virginia coach Bob Huggins thinks college basketball’s power conferences need to embrace a controversial but financially rewarding idea.
Speaking at Big 12 Media Day on Wednesday, Huggins advocated for the sport’s elite conferences to break away from the NCAA and form their own tournament in order to earn a greater share of the profits.
“They’re doing it in football,” Huggins said, via Myron Medcalf of ESPN. “Why wouldn’t they do it? The presidents and athletic directors that have all the juice, why wouldn’t they do it? Makes no sense why they wouldn’t do it. I think it’s more ‘Why wouldn’t they?’ than ‘Why would they?’ And then, the other people, they can have their own tournament.
“Those Cinderella schools are putting 200 people, at best, in their gym. We’re putting 14,000.”
If you’re a stakeholder with one of these programs, the idea makes sense. The NCAA has an $8.8 billion TV deal for March Madness,
And that's what Bevo has been saying , too. Alabama and MTSU are NOT the same, even if they are in the same "grouping". The sooner everyone acquiesces to this, the better.

And they all knew, and were in on it. Anything to stop the orange man. “Joe Biden knew the laptop was real. I was disturbed that Joe Biden would stand up and lie to the American people when confronted about it in the debates. The Intelligence letter was a baseless. Joe Biden knew it was a lie. This is INTERFERENCE in the election” --- Attorney General Bill Barr. Biden lies. Period. He started his campaign with a lie (the "good people on both sides hoax from Charlottesville). Not one person in the media called him out for that huge lie. Sadly, no democrats care.

A$M always finds a way to shoot itself in the foot but it is fast becoming the best team money can buy. Liberty with a new QB? I'll wait and see. The highest paid 8-4/9-3 team available.
