Congrats to Pennsylvania boy, Jason Taylor, the 33rd football legend from that state ( my native born state ). Pa leads all states in producing football legends. Also congrats to Kenny Easley from Virginia ( my residential state )..the 10th Virginian to be enshrined, which ranks the commonwealth 8th among all states.
And Kurt Warner ... University of Northern Iowa has now outproduced 10 of the 14 SEC members for HOF quality QBs and only Alabama has produced more.

Tennessee-Chattanooga should have also had an inductee but I guess in that instance, they're considering factors off the field, as well.

I drafted Kurt Warner in FF before anyone had ever heard of him. My brag was only two coaches saw his potential...Dick Vermeil and me.

T.O. was the best player Marshall teams have ever faced. Joshua Cribbs, as QB for Kent State, was the second best. Lamar Jackson would be well down the list.

Never had heard of Terrell Davis either.... I'll never forget you DEMANDING that we turn OFF the football game on TV during the draft!

Who knows how good he might end up being? By all reports, he's a good kid. Why do you always feel the need to diss him?

Although the "PC" aspect of it was slightly annoying, I enjoyed seeing all the HOF guys from historically black colleges just before the Super Bowl.
Especially, Elvin Bethea. He was one of my FAVORITE Oilers. Besides being an AWESOME player, he was one great man for the Houston community. When he was playing, he was EVERYWHERE. Terrific ambassador for the game.

I never said or implied that Jackson isn't a good kid. He might yet develop into a Heisman worthy player. I didn't diss him -- I simply told the truth. He simply isn't near the top of my list of the best opposing players Marshall has faced.

Warner is unquestionably the best bag boy in the HOF.
Maybe the greatest and most improbable comeback in the history of sports.
