A while back you mentioned you might be interested in going to Ohio Stadium for the Buckeye/Spartan game on 11/11. Is this still a possibility? I'm not sure of the game time but most likely it will be 3:30. Let me know - I'm going to start looking for tickets. I should be able to get student tickets for a reasonable price.

I've been hoping you would remember! I have been fighting off travel requests for quite some time. I actually will leave for Germany on the 12th. But, the 11th still looks great! Let me know!

Sounds great - like I said, game time hasn't been announced yet so I'll keep you posted. It should be announced soon....

Kickoff announced - NOON! We typically head up around 7 am for noon games and are usually at the first stop of our game day ritual by 8:30. We all live very close to Kings Island amusement park - when we go to Louisville it typically takes a little less that 2 hours. Tickets appear to be plentiful - i'll keep you posted.

I might come stay near you the night before. I have PLENTY of Holiday Inn points! :-) I'm good for whatever on the ticket... hmn... well, up to ~ $150, or so. I mean, it IS OSU. I guess I have to buy a hat. I don't own ANYTHING Scarlett. (I do have a Bengals, and a Reds hat ;-) ) Glad it's not a night game. I would have to have passed.

Awesome - we have a Hampton Inn at our exit off I-71 (and a Microtel!). The Fields Ertel exit which is about 6 miles south of ours has just about every motel - Marriott, Hyatt Place. I think the nearest Holiday Inn is in West Chester off I-75 which is about 20 minutes from where we live. I doubt tickets will be over $100, especially if I can get student tickets - they're just looking for beer money! I'll keep you posted!

Just off the Fields Hertel exit. I might try that one. But, let me check with MamaBevo.. I might bring her the night before, and leave her in Cincy during the day. If so, I'll probably stay close to downtown. Sounds like a great day coming!

I was thinking about that - you may want to do the 'Jack' the night before. On a Saturday morning you could get to Mason from downtown in less than 30 minutes.

We JUST got an offer for two 'free nights' at the Hyatt. So, we're booked for Fri/Sat. Now, I HOPE You get tickets, (and, I'm willing to pay more now)... because otherwise, I'm gambling all day on Sat. That would likely be expensive. :-)

Doc With student tickets do you need to worry about having an ID. I have avoided getting those for people because I don't want them not to be able to get in. Thanks,

Went to last year's Michigan game on a student ticket and this year's Army game. A friend of mine uses a student ticket every game - he knows a student who sells him his ticket every game. The thing we do to make sure we can all sit together is make copies of our South Stand tickets and show that to the ushers so we can get to the area where we all sit - you just need to make sure no one else uses the copied ticket or someone will get screwed trying to enter.
