I would say the rivals have won 5 of 6, not beaten. Michigan beat MSU until the brain cramp on the final drive (how do you fumble taking a knee) a couple years ago and the refs gave tOSU the win a year ago with a bad spot. That being said, Michigan did not beat a single team with a winning record this season. They were the seventh best team in the conference. That has to change. The QB situation was a major factor, but without the impressive defense, it could have been worse. Next season is huge with trips to South Bend, East Lansing, and Columbus.

I appreciate your assessment and comments although I would say the visual evidence in this article would dispute your claim that the refs gave Ohio State a bad spot in 2016. www.sbnation.com/college-football/2016/11/29/13769308/ohio-state-jt-barrett-fourth-down-michigan-game-2016Nevertheless, i agree that next yesar is huge for Harbaugh and they have some challenging games, especially the Irish right out of the gate.

Until the end of time, Ohio State and Michigan fans will argue over whether J.T. Barrett got this fourth down conversion to set up the winning touchdown against Michigan.
THAT part of the article is truth...
