Just ordered tickets to North Dakota State @ Delaware(9/14) ND State - clearly the most dominant D1 program of our time ( without the help of a single committee/conference room vote). Maybe, just maybe, losing much of the coaching staff to Kansas State will give the Hens some hope as the new NDSU staff adjusts. Then again it might be over by halftime and I can get home that very late night or early Sunday am. Hate the thought of that DC area and general East coast traffic, but I'm excited for a geezer.

Hopefully it is a good game. I am lucky. Live a little more than 2 hours from Boone, nice easy day trip, until I get back close to Charlotte.

Hey Stumpy
My daughter and grand kids live in Charlotte . I visit some and know what you mean. 3am is the best time to try and drive through that area.

clearly the most dominant D1 program of our time . LOL
I wonder how many points Vegas would give Clemson against them?

Oh, if they played right now now in Fargo, I'd guess about 2 touchdowns and the NE Patriots would be about a 75 point favorite. None of that has anything to do with 'dominance' in the context of my post.
7 'REAL' NCAA national D1 championships in last eight years without the help of one single automatic appointment directly to a final or semi-final playoff game or one single secret conference room vote.
That's dominance, Bevo.

Just the opposite. The Bison don't schedule rent-a-wins vs lower division teams ( II & III ). They often schedule OOC games vs higher division teams ( and win !)

They have NO BUSINESS being in the division they're in. They are, IMO, a testimony to the ineptness of the NCAA and their inability to organize fair competition. But, in the end... it doesn't really matter. They are, irrelevant.

North Dakota State is irrelevant. So disappointed in how disrespectful you can be, Bevo. A D1 college FB program reaches success levels never seen before and you feel the need to trash it. I wish there was some way I could get you fellers to respect the other 95% of intercollegiate football.
Btw, don't forget to tell Stumpy Stew that his Appalachian State Division 1 national championship runs (3-peat) were irrelevant. ...or Florida Herd fan's Marshall D1 national titles were irrelevant (was it you that ran him off ?),...... and , of course Delaware's two NCAA national championships were irrelevant, correct ?

Here's a thought: Stop TRASHING the top level of this sport in virtually EVERY post. Some of us actually like it.

I only trash the fake championship system of the highest level, the academic fraud of the highest level and the custom , imbalanced scheduling of the highest level, Bevo. Otherwise I love it at least as much as you

They're not irrelevant to the people involved in winning them, or to the fans that cheer them on. It's all a great experience. Everyone should have it, at least once. But, such programs ARE irrelevant in terms of the overall business of top level College Football. It's not dis-respect. It's just reality.
