Lol. Now, the committee is biased toward the ACC? Too funny. I thought Clemson earned their spots. Of course they are. They just started the ACC ESPN Network. No one earns a spot the are just given to the ones they like the best:) I don't see any ESPN execs on the CFP governance board. How exactly do they exert so much control?

They might get 4. If aTm beats Clemson. Then LSU, BAMA, and aTM all win out with a round robin loss. Then UGA runs the table and loses in the CCG they will have 4 1 loss teams and all go. I can live with that.

Consensus seems to be: a Four Team playoff is "legitimate enough". The Big10 was the only conference that could build their own Network and survive. Now it directly competes against ESPN and is doing very well. ESPN wants to crush the B10 Network and one way of doing is to portray the conference as mediocre.
To reinforce the mediocrity plan ESPN got the last TWO Big10 teams in the playoffs to post goose eggs. Damn, those ESPN folks are clever.

Yeah, Hero, only two so far and Alabama gets a bye....and you're right - I do shamelessly watch too much of that ESPN talking head crap but acknowledge how powerful that network is in shaping who does and does not get to participate in its MCFP event. You misspelled shamefully.
