Except for 2 runs by Jonathan Taylor in the BIG Championship game I think OSU's run defense has been pretty stout. Taylor was a lot more effective when the refs allowed the Wisconsin center to hold and he's pretty good at it. If Clemson's center is good at holding Etienne should break off some good runs.

* Mike McIntosh? • A.J. Harmon? • Robert Nkemdiche? • Demarcus Robinson? • Devonte Holloway? • Dalvin Cook?
All committed to Clemson. All de-committed from Clemson. None won a National Championship. Clemson went on to win two.

Final thoughts before the game- I think Clemson is the better and more complete team. That said, they haven't been challenged by an elite team since Alabama last year. If Ohio State is going to win, Fields needs to have a big day. The Buckeyes won't Dobbins their way to a win. If Ohio State can just stick in the game till the 4th, they have a chance. They need to come out guns blazing and try and score first. Don't go through the first half without a TD. Someone has to end Clemson's win streak.

Not sure how you can conclude that Clemson is the more complete team. Offensively tOSU has the most points and top 5 yards per game. Defensively they are top 5 in those categories as well. Clemson has similar stats against far worse competition. When you look at special teams tOSU is ranked much higher.

Good Luck to both sides.
This game looks like "Rock vs Hard Place". As much as I love wagering, I wouldn't bet a nickel of Hen's huge stash on this game. Too close to call. Too many weapons on both sides. Too many "unknowns".
I think, the intangibles favor the Buckeyes. They have a score to settle. It's harder to "get up" for, "Let's crush them again". "Remember the Alamo" works better.
I'm looking forward to watching this one.

Reminds me a bit of Texas vs USC.
Trojans SHOULD have been up 28-0 in the first quarter. Somehow, they weren’t. And then, we came back.
OSU could easily have been 28-0.

That was a real shaky tageting call that changed momentum as well. It looked like Lawrence lowered his head in which case.....what is the safety supposed to do?

Ohio State not getting any help by the refs....could have been a fumble for a TD

If that wasn’t targeting, they should just stop calling it. The targeting call was correct I thought Dobbins scored a TD earlier in the game, was called incomplete, settled for field goal and the fumble return for a TD. Looked like it could have been a fumble add in the Dobbins drop on that wide open screen several mistakes and bad calls
