Bama's upcoming 2020 and 2021 non conference schedules : 2020) Georgia State -home Kent State - home UT Martin - home USC - neutral 2021) So Miss - home New Mex State -home Mercer - home Miami - neutral The scheduling bravado is overwhelming, isn't it ? Glad to see Saban playing a genuine visiting road game vs Texas in 2023.......only the second one in over a decade. So Hero, you can see why I've been assigned to follow you around and check that you're not fooling anybody with that Bama scheduling ideology and other Bama/Saban/SEC mythology.
Since coaching in the SEC, 28.5 % of all Saban's home wins have come vs FCS teams and G5 teams ( most often weaker programs). Not all CF junkies are so easily fooled.

Alabama heads to Tallahassee in 2025 I imagine Alabama would play any Big 10 team, but Ohio St. and Michigan avoid the SEC like the plague I just hope one day we see the Buckeyes come on down to Death Valley or the Swamp

My question about your premise, Evil, is : How do you know that B10 teams avoid scheduling SEC teams in regular season games ? Could it be the opposite ? ....SEC teams avoiding B10 teams ? After all, SEC teams can win 98% of the time with all the FCS and lower tier G5 teams they prefer to schedule for OOC home games. B10 teams would be light years more dangerous to schedule. A little something to think about, Evil.

SOS different day. I face this level of trolling 24 7 365. Half the time when I respond he wants to play the victim game. BH, I can honestly say I have no idea what the heck you are talking about. Have I said ANYTHING that was wrong?

No Hero. Your future OOC opponent list is absolutely right. Forgive me if I interpreted it as a claim that Alabama, somehow plays tough OOC schedules.
What's this 'troll' stuff ? I don't know what that means . Am I a troll ?

COWARDLY!!!!!! Laughing No doubt that Alabama has mad a concerted effort to up their schedule but over the last decade it has not been good and they always have they lay up (most of the time Citadel) before the Auburn game.

No coach should EVER try for a schedule that is harder than necessary to get his team in the CFP.
Bama’s conference schedule is almost always tough enough to get them considered, if they win out. They have practically nothing to gain by scheduling a really tough P5 opponent for OOC.
Hate em if you want. All they are doing is what gives them the best chance.

I thought with all the changes you would love us. laughing DON’T check next years schedule or you will be forced to love BAMA. (or move on to reason 1001) I’m sure you will think of something.

I would argue that the Aggies should be considered a "layup".... well, at least, before they spent a gazillion dollars on a new stadium and top tier coach. More like a mid-range jump shot now. ;-)

For the record I just want to say I don’t care who teams from the SEC or any other conference plays - the SEC has the toughest in conference schedules of any conference, especially in the west. I just think the post that started this thread is completely inaccurate and has no basis for truth, especially when I had data to support my side. And again, I’m not knocking how any conference schedules - their way has worked pretty well for the SEC. I would like to commend Coach O at LSU. Prior to the playoff seedings camping out, Coach Day lobbied to be #1 and expressed disappointment when Ohio State was dropped to #2. Dabo made a comment to the effect that Clemson won the year before, hadn’t lost and dropped to 3 so good for us. Coach O said before the rankings were announced that he didn’t care, just tell us where to play and we’ll be there. After hearing each coach inside I thought LSU was going to win because their coach wasn’t worrying about things he couldn’t control. Anyway, enough on this subject for me. I shouldn’t have fallen for the troll. BH follows almost every post of mine with the same schlock. EV is not a troll. You're right - a poor choice of words by me, EV likes to Stir the Pot which he's done very well in this thread.

...and as the smoke clears, big time, so called 'college' football's major issues remain :
1) Lack of a championship
2) Bullshit unbalanced custom scheduling
3) Academic fraud
