I just hope one day we see the Buckeyes come on down to Death Valley or the Swamp. Well they're playing Georgia but it's a while down the road. They have games with ND, Oregon, Texas and Washington before that. Like it or not, the BIG and PAC 12 have a rivalry that dates back to the start of the Rose Bowl so it's a natural fit to play a PAC 12 team OOC. And the last time OSU played Alabama the Buckeyes won.

With all the conference re-alignments going on, I sometimes get a bit confused. But, to my count, I see the SAME number of B1G schools as SEC schools? Is that correct? I mean, surely... I've miscounted?

Maybe the facts will change some B1G talking points. Facts ?? We don't need no stinking facts around here!

Not surprised that FSU is on top of this list - this is how Bowden built the program - anytime, anywhere. FSU had to make 6 trips to Baton Rouge before LSU would agree to come to Tallahassee.

So? Michigan is the only B1G team with balls ??
Is that the takeaway ?

ACC 8 Teams(hats off to The ACC) SEC 3 BIG12 2 PAC12 2 B1G 1 That’s gonna leave a mark. EV started this thread with I think he had a point when you look at all P5.

So? Michigan is the only B1G team with balls ?? Is that the takeaway ? Michigan and the ACC. BTW, 2 of USC's games are Ohio State, 2 of VT's games are Ohio State, 2 of Oklahoma's games are Ohio State, 2 of Texas' games are Ohio State and 2 of Miami's games are Ohio State.

If that’s true, that’s 10 games. You should be on the list ? I'm pretty sure VT most likely didn't finish either season ranked, most probably Miami, as well. The others for sure did. And my guess is Miami and VT were pretty highly regarded when the games were scheduled. You never know how good a team might be when you schedule 7-10 years in advance.

Oh... it's RANKED P5 teams. I count 13 P5 Schools that OSU has played in the past 15 seasons. But, I guess some of them weren't ranked.
It's a bit trickier trying to figure out who's going to be ranked, 5-8 years from now. Most likely, California and Washington weren't ranked when you played. Texas might not have been either, the 2nd time we played?

They have played 15, top 10 level teams in bowl games over the past 15 seasons with an 8-7 record (if it wasn't for Clemson it would be a lot better!!!)....a couple may have been just below top 10 but not by much.... ND Florida (NC) LSU (NC) Texas Oregon Arkansas Florida Clemson Alabama (Playoff) Oregon (NC game) ND Clemson (Playoff) USC Washington Clemson (Playoff)

Not to mention playing a number of conference championship games against the best in the East.

Certainly, although I'm not as up on Bama bowl opponents as I am OSU's...Buckeyes are also 4-1 in BIG championship games.
