Our daughter is in Cleveland for work and was informed that her company has suspended work related travel until the end of April. She lives in Minneapolis so I hope they don't expect her to drive back since she flew there. Obviously she has to go back home. She travels quite a bit for work so I guess she'll get to explore Minneapolis a bit more in the upcoming weeks. She also has a unch of friends getting married so she'll still be traveling on the weekends. Haven't heard of any cases in Cleveland or Minneapolis - this thing is crazy.

It's really getting out of control. I'm also GROUNDED until further notice. I was supposed to go to Dubai and Saudi this weekend for some pretty important meetings. Now, my local team will go to the customer sites, and I will join in on SKYPE... at 1 am on one day, 5 am on another. great. Better than traveling, I guess.
We're really getting worried about the Kentucky Derby. I had two different guests invited (Wayne & Anita, Hero) But, as of now, they would NOT be allowed. No flying and no large crowds. I'm also supposed to present a paper at a large conference in Houston in the first week of April. Several attendees have backed out, and I'm waiting any day to hear that the conference is cancelled.
IMO, based on what we know at this point, we are severely over-reacting. But, better safe than sorry (I guess) and there are still many unknowns.

I've got tickets to a sporting event too, Hero.......... a Texas Rangers @ Philadelphia Phillies game in late April plus some touring around the Brandywine Valley area of Del/Pa. That trek could be in jeopardy
It's all trumps fault :-).

We're going to the Big East basketball tournament in NYC next week (if it isn't cancelled - I doubt that happens!) As a 61 year old, cancer survivor I'll admit this does worry me a bit. I've had tons of chemo treatments and have to believe my immune system has been somewhat compromised. At the same time, I exercise everyday (I truly have exercised 475 consecutive days) and I'm in tremendous cardio shape. I don't get sick very often and when I do i tend to bounce back pretty quickly. I don't sit around worrying about this stuff but I will be glad when they get a better feel for keeping this under control.

Of course, that decision would be easy... since, no TV contracts are involved. Let's see what they do with the BIG show? I'm not worried in the slightest. The mortality rates for this virus are grossly over-stated, because we have NO IDEA how many people have actually been infected. Most likely, it is only slightly higher than regular flu. You're strong, and healthy... just keep self-treating with beer, and you'll be fine! :-)

Don't trust any of the so-called "fact-checkers". Most are nothing but propagandists. Notice it says, "Trump APPEARED to SUGGEST"...not Trump actually said, "x". Weasel words, not fact-checking.

Trump NEVER said people "should" go to work sick... he said "some people DO".... it was not in a context like it was a good thing. Just the way it is, because... they're not THAT sick. They likely don't even KNOW they have it. That is what he was saying.
