The Cincinnati Bengals select....Joe Burrow, Quarterback, LSU.
Others have tried - David Klingler, Akili Smith, Jeff Blake, Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton - I guess Palmer and Dalton have had the most success but none have been able to get the Bengals a playoff win. Not since Boomer have the Bengals won a playoff game.
So now they're giving the keys to Joe Burrow - he's from Ohio, a very confident kid who broke just about every single season NCAA record there is - if Mike Brown doesn't do everything in his power to help this kid win, I'm done with the Bengals. This is the last rodeo. DON'T RUIN THIS KID, MIKE!!!!!!!

They have a pretty good supporting cast these days compared to what Carson Palmer faced. I can see them making the playoffs. Winning? Well, we are talking about the Bengals.

The Bengals were pretty active in free agency - I think that was an effort to show Burrow they're trying. They should also get that Alabama offensive lineman, Jonah Williams, who missed all last year with an injury - that will help fortify the line. If Green returns and stay healthy they have good receivers, Mixon is a workload running back - they need to upgrade linebackers and DB's.

For example, Tampa Bay hasnt necessarily been bad the last few years, they are just stuck with Atlanta, New Orleans, and Carolina Can the Bengals get ahead in the North? The division is kind of up for grabs lately. Baltimore is good, but not untouchable. Pittsburgh is on the decline. Cleveland is still a quagmire
