Alabama and Ohio State just announced a home-and-home series.
- Sept. 18, 2027 in Columbus
- Sept. 9, 2028 in Tuscaloosa
The teams have met four times previously. Three were bowl games, another was a neutral site game at the Meadowlands.

I was a student the first time OSU and Bama played - it was in the Sugar Bowl and it was much hyped as it was Woody Hayes vs Bear Bryant. The Crimson Tide had Ozzie Newsome at the time and they beat up the Bucks pretty badly that day. The other games were very competitive, especially the most recent one in the 2015 national semi-finals. Buckeyes have some pretty stout OOC games coming up in the next 7-8 years, should be fun! Better start planning the trip to Tuscaloosa - who's in?! BTW - I know how much CPA loves intriguing stats - here's one for you.... There are fewer days between now and Ohio State's 2027 match-up with Alabama (2,648 days) than there are between now and Ohio State's last loss to Michigan (3,127 days). It's all good! (Except for that 0-4 record vs Clemson )

It was their home. THEY built it. They would be MUCH more competitive in the Big 12. Huge mistake.

An interesting note for those who think Scott Frost is a guru. Joe Burrow desperately wanted to go to Nebraska when he left OSU. Frost couldn’t find a spot for him. LMAO

That and firing Bo Pelini. Pelini consistently won 9-10 games when he there. He usually also lost 4 so he's finish somewhere around 9-4, but he was competitive at least. Nebraska hasnt even been compitive since he's been gone

LMAO Not sure if Burrow desperately wanted to go the Bengals but there he is. the $30 million he'll make will help ease any disappointment he may have felt. I sure hope he is the answer to turning things around in Cincinnati but as long as Mike Brown is involved that's a huge Matzo ball the entire organization has to overcome.

they are locked into a division filled with other midwest schools...they went from being a Nationally recognized program to a program tucked and hidden away in regionalism
Sure they make a lot of money, but wouldn't they rather be winning? How do you dig yourself out of a hole that deep? because championships are built on recruiting and coaching
