I think the Big XII, SEC, and ACC are determined to make it happen...and as more sports open up, there is less of an argument to keep college football shutdown
it will be a weird season...talk about an 8 team playoff, and Notre Dame playing an ACC schedule are floating around
but it will be nice to see college football again

I think Covid cases have peaked, nation-wide, and are likely to continue dropping in the next several weeks. To have college football, it's going to have to drop very quickly. That MIGHT happen. But, I think the drop is likely to be slower. If so, college football will be delayed. MAYBE, they start playing in late-September?? Here's a funny tidbit: In Kentucky, our Governor mandated face masks, EVERYWHERE, 16 days ago, but our cases are still going up. Tomorrow, he's probably going to start re-closing the churches and restaurants. Hard to understand? I mean, it's MORE than 2 weeks now. The widespread masking was supposed to save us? I attended my church. EVERYONE wore a mask. EVERYONE was very respective of social distancing. We had maybe 250 people in a building that holds 2000. We've had ZERO confirmed cases in the congregation since re-opening. But, THIS is our Democrat Governor's next target to save us? Protesting is FINE! We had hundreds of armed militia members in Louisville yesterday. No COVID concerns there. But, can't have that church-going. Oh no!

In Ohio the total number of daily cases are starting to drop. Considering testing is way up is a very good sign.
The more important numbers to me are deaths, hospitalizations, and ICU admissions which are all trending downward. With the start of baseball I am starting to think college football is on for the fall.

The NFL seems to be marching forward toward playing. It's going to be a stretch.

Just saw that regarding the Marlins breakout. If they start shutting down baseball games then eventually I see the whole season being shelved. If that happens then I will certainly rethink my optimism.

As of now, weaknesses at WR (with Ross' injury) and a little at safety. If we push into spring for football, we'll be without Trevor and Etienne, as they will likely declare.
