Original 2020 schedule at Georgia Tech Louisville Akron Virginia at Boston College at Florida State NC State Syracuse at Notre Dame The Citadel at Wake Forest South Carolina
New schedule (not sure of order yet) Boston College Miami Pitt Syracuse Virginia at Florida State at Georgia Tech at Notre Dame at Virginia Tech at Wake Forest (probably South Carolina as well for the 1 non-conf)
Gone are gimmes with Akron and The Citadel. Added are Virginia Tech and Pitt.
Clemson's road back the national championship just got a lot harder. Would not surprise me if they drop a game. Pitt, Virginia, VT, and Notre Dame will pose real challenges, and road games at FSU and Georgia Tech won't be easy outs. Miami may be tricky too
With Ohio State playing a complete conference schedule, I think they've got a real chance to be #1 going into the playoff (because I think the Big 10 will be down this year, ACC will be up)
Waiting to see what the SEC does now...(is Texas A&M freakin eligible for post season or not???)

Is the ACC allowing non-conference games? BIG is only playing a conference schedule thus eliminating the game at Oregon.
I saw a pretty good idea earlier this week. Spread the games out so they're playing every other week. If they start on August 29 the season would last through December and you could do playoffs in January. The two weeks off could allow for COVID positive players to go through quarantine and possibly not miss games. Just a thought. If they played on consecutive weeks just one time they'd end the week before Christmas.

SEC just voted on 10-game conf only schedule. So, Clemson will need to replace SCAR on the schedule. Probably Citadel comes back on the schedule.

On first blush, I was not happy with the home/away split. Not scared of the schedule either. Clemson should be favored in every game. Either Ladson or Ngata has to step up at WR. One will. Amari Rogers will see a lot of catches and so will Galloway at TE (long reception in Natty called back because of blindside block on Higgins). ETN's carries should go up on a per game avg. LB that has his 3rd ACL tear (was supposed to replace Simmons) has given up football. I don't see Clemson falling outside the Top 2 in the ACC.

The cupcakes are gone though....and you can't sleep on Pitt, VT, or Virginia. All 3 teams bring back good teams. Pitt had a nasty D last year
Notre Dame will be huggggeeee

If Notre Dame is or will be ACC , that conference now can boast of having 7 USN&WR top 50 national universities. No other , so called, P5 conference is even close to that.
Duke Notre Dame Wake Forest U Of Virginia Georgia Tech U of N.Carolina Boston College
