I like ACC football, I don't know why it gets a bad rap
This is a big game for both programs. Louisville is on the way up. They have a good program and it's fun watching them create their history and tradition. They were one of the best additions to the ACC, and as a Noles fan, I enjoy playing them much more than I ever did playing Maryland. Maryland has had one good season in the past several years, and that was in 2001 with Ralph Friedgen.
Miami is trying to get back on top. They haven't been able to reach anything close to their run from 2000-02. They have a QB now though, so maybe they can make some noise. I don't think it takes a lot for Miami to reach the top...start winning alot and the recruits will come. They haven't had as easy a road in the ACC as they did in the Big East though. They've only won the Coastal Division once and got crushed by Clemson in the ACC Championship game.
This should be a good game in kind of a sparse weekend

GT making big improvements but still need to build up their defense. Not sure Collins is really mining the ATL just yet either….
Louisville so far after 1Q is proving they really don’t have the dudes on D to complement their O. To me same ol’ Louisville. Satterfield still a great coach.
Hard to believe but with the talent and what they’ve shown so far, Miami might be the third or more likely fourth best team playing in the ACC this year. Still think UNC will end up being the better team. And ND #2…..Maybe.

How many of those are top 10 teams? Clemson of course. Notre Dame probably too. Miami and North Carolina might inch their way to the top 10. Virginia and Virginia Tech might be pretty good too
It's going to be a tough road for Clemson this year...
Virginia Miami @ Notre Dame Pitt @ Virginia Tech ACC Championship
Clemson can't cruise control their way through the season this year. That Notre Dame game is ominous as well...strange things can happen with Touchdown Jesus watching. Just ask FSU 1993. USC 2005 needed the Bush push to get by

Louisville's players look skinny...skinnier than Wake's.

They have some players on offense though...I don't think they are in the upper echelon of the ACC, but I think they (along with GT) are headed in the right direction. Everyone only sees Clemson right now as top tier, but the ACC is becoming pretty competitive. It is a tough league

Louisville's players look skinny...skinnier than Wake's. Satterfield came here with literally NOTHING in the cupboard. They've had a hard time recruiting. So, yea.. a bunch of freshmen playing. And, they didn't get normal reps/workouts. Bottom line: I'm not sure the Cards are very good.

They aren't exactly an Arkansas. I do think they'll beat FSU
Right now, I think they are better than Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, FSU, Duke and NC State. I would have them favored in all of those games. We shall see

That game was kind of misleading...GT was inching back in and pulled within 7 in the 4th. Somehow UCF rolled off 21 points in a quick timespan
