The Big XII enters the bowl season tomorrow with Oklahoma St. taking on Miami, and Texas playing Colorado
i expect Texas to annihilate Colorado
Okie State vs. Miami should be good, but Miami may be heavily overrated as they were destroyed in their two hard games
the following night we get Oklahoma vs. Florida in the Cotton Bowl. This may be one of the best bowl games this year

Big XII 2-0 so far
Oklahoma up tonight...they might get an easy win with a lot of Florida's key players opting out

I said several years ago bowl games are dead. Now we are beginning to see what the players think.

Florida better not give up any more TDs, they might drop to 6 or 7 in the final poll.

That game last night and all the commentary was a disgrace.

That game last night and all the commentary was a disgrace. Agree Doc, they basically turned it into a talk show.

Clearly, the players don’t care unless they are in the playoffs. This is pre spring practice. Did you see Pitts AMF video? Gee thanks Kyle. That helped.

The greatest team sport should not be playing meaningless post season exhibition games but should offer a full fledged , inclusive post season championship playoff. It would be heavenly.

Did you see Pitts AMF video? Gee thanks Kyle. That helped. The Pitts video was an embarrassment. If you care so much about your team, BE THERE FOR THEM!! Hell, Dak Prescott was there for Mullins and he’s on crutches and I’m a boot.

That game last night and all the commentary was a disgrace. Agree Doc, they basically turned it into a talk show. They anointed Oklahoma a top team for next year, started Rattler’s Heisman campaign and they were playing a team that wanted to be anywhere than where they were. Pathetic.

I don't know, doc. I can see the point of the opt outs too, since these goofy bowls are basically post season exhibitions and a potential pro career might be at risk

I said several years ago bowl games are dead. Now we are beginning to see what the players think. You and me both. I said it after McCaffrey opted out. He legitimized it. If Christian did it, it’s “Ok”. Even, “smart” He’ll, I’m not even sure the playoffs will stay immune from it. The money at stake is simply too big. Universities are going to be forced to provide some kind of insurance program if they expect kids to play. Oh wait. That’s what a education USED to be? Hmmm... I’d still prefer $5M, guaranteed money
