That was a fun game to watch last night. UCLA is a scrappy team, led by a UK transfer. I sure wish these games didn’t start so late. Zzzzzz I love the games I’ve seen so far..... I have a feeling Saturday’s games will be kinda boring though..... Baylor can defend and score, Houston can defend but snoring can be a challenge. If Baylor gets up by 10 or more I have a hard time seeing the Cougs being able to come back from to big a deficit.... as for UCLA-Gonzaga it’s kinda the same thing. UCLA has defended spectacularly in this tourney if they get behind I could see this being a repeat of USC-Gonzaga. I expect both to be more on the blowout side of games, rather than close game......BUT I also think Baylor-Gonzaga will be a hell of a national title. Good call. Baylor’s offense was WAY too much for Houston. Nice run for the Coogs. But they were outmatched today. I think UCLA will give the Zags a better game

Hoops might be the most difficult sport to officiate Probably. Also the easiest for refs to control the outcome of the game.

But, if Baylor shoots like this did against Houston, nobody is going to beat them. Houston didn’t face a single digit seed the entire tournament and it showed last night. They were boys against men. Nice run but not nearly the same level of players as the other 3 teams. Monday night should be one of the best - I really want to see Gonzaga complete the perfect season but Would also be happy for Baylor should they win. Unlike years when Duke and UNC are in the finals, I’ll be sure to watch this one.

I'm not a hoops aficionado but ,IMO, that game last night was sports drama at its best.....and better yet, within the context of a 'real' college sports championship. Has anybody noticed that none of the final four teams got 'voted' into the final four ? There is a difference between a competition based championship post season and an opinion based exhibition post season.

...and another killer good women's game for the championship. Can't wait for the softball championship.

There is a difference between a competition based championship post season and an opinion based exhibition post season. There is NO DIFFERENCE. The Football Champ is just as legit. The rules are different. But, ONE team rises to the top, and wins or loses on the field.

There is a difference between a competition based championship post season and an opinion based exhibition post season. There is NO DIFFERENCE. The Football Champ is just as legit. The rules are different. But, ONE team rises to the top, and wins or loses on the field. I think both are equally flawed. NCAA Basketball essentially lets every team in the tournament which starts the week of conference tournaments. Then some team that don't win get a second chance with at large selection. One of the major flaws is that like in Footgball the at large choices are heavily weighted with P5 teams. Clearly the all everything BIG got in way more than they deserved. Also if a team makes a nice run like UCLA that was a 11 seed (likely not even in the top 40) and wins it all what does that say. Clearly the regular season means next to nothing and that six game stretch is the only thing that matters when determining a champ. College football on the other hand is way to exclusive and the method of selecting the top 4 is extremely biased which is a big reason why Ohio State 2014 and Alabama in 2018 were declared the champs.
