This can't be right. If they are picking between Ohio State and Oklahoma for number 4 Ohio State gets it. If it was against Ohio State Alabama then the Buckeyes would be fifth.
Name recognition means everything to the committee.

What's it going to take to break the logjam of Bama, OSU, OU, and Clemson? They have college football in a stranglehold.

Georgia vs. Clemson should be huge to start off the season
Georgia's schedule is set up for a title run. Gotta beat Bama in Atlanta for the SEC Championship

Fun fact: April 20th will mark 400 days of "2 weeks to slow the spread."
Fauci yesterday: "Hang in there!"

Preseason ESPN FPI top 10:
1) Alabama 2) Oklahoma 3) Clemson 4) Iowa State 5) Ohio State 6) Texas A&M 7) Georgia 8) Mississipppi State 9) Oklahoma State 10) Penn State
If Saban would ever recruit some talent, Bama might stand a chance.

For the record, I'm not TheAngryCincinnatian - but I agree with his/her assessment of this list.

The Big XII was the best conference last year, and proved that in the bowls. The three Texas losses were extremely close.
Iowa State doesn't have the top notch talent of Alabama, but they are a senior-laden team with a decent QB. They ARE good and will be good again as they return their entire team

Not sure how the B12 could be the best conference last year considering they dropped 3 games vs non power 5 teams. I would bet my entire life savings that tOSU will be ranked ahead of Iowa St at the end of the season. They are going to drop at least one to Oklahoma and probably 2 if they get the the CCG. Oklahoma St and Penn St have no business being in anyones top 10.

The Big 12 had favorable bowl matchups, and they won them. But, that doesn't make them great teams. They're 'good teams'.... but, there was NO TEAM in the Big 12 last year that was anywhere close to Bama, Clemson or OSU in talent. The gap was not small. Texas played well, at times... but, they were poorly coached and inconsistent. The team was also consumed with division resulting from all the SJW crap last year.
