Oh, Ok thanks, Bevo. It had to be a very quick call and directive. What would've happened had he disobeyed ?
....and I assume the official(s) got the same directive from the NFL office - "do whatever you have to making sure the Eagles do not win "
right ?

One day, Hen. We will all know what was said and done. They can’t maintain this level of corruption forever.

Uh. Yea. The AFC championship To Bevo's defense there were many questionable calls and every one went in KC favor. The 3 that stood out to me The missed holding call on the play that Mahomes got pummeled. This hold would have negated the pummeling. The missed block in the back on the Sky Moore punt return. That was clearly obvious. The intentional grounding on Burrow. He was hit and it clearly looked to affect the direction of the pass. These were all penalties you could see in real time that looked obvious and in my opinion all were missed. Also why did they give KC a second attempt at a 3rd down.

Look.... you can choose to believe in the NFL if you like. I've seen TOO MUCH. I will no longer believe it is free and fair.
I'll still enjoy watching it. And, I'll try my best to figure out how to make money betting on it. I WISH, they'd just put me on the 'insider email list'. That would make things a LOT easier. But, I'm OK to be left to compete against the Riff-Raff. I don't think the insider elitist pull of the money pool is all THAT great. It's a BIG pool.

For the record the LAST sport I still believe in is, Baseball... and, even in Baseball, MY team is accused of cheating. I think baseball is the HARDEST to rig. Basketball is so easy, only an idiot would put any faith in it. Football is a bit harder, but not much. Golf is impossible to fix, but who really cares? I don't know enough about hockey to really know. Baseball is not impossible. An umpire, with a big payday offering, can certainly impact a game. I'm not sure he can guarantee an outcome?
Do YOU think an Ump has that kind of power? I hope not. It's my last bastion of naivete. I'm hoping to watch more baseball after I retire. :-)

Is this the QAnon sports club ? why can't you just answer DIRECT questions? I was totally sincere in my request. You know far more about baseball today than I do. I truly would value your opinion.

No doubt the Ump is powerful if that's what you mean. Whether one is corrupt or not I absolutely cannot answer. There is a variety of strike zones out there but the teams know this in advance and try to adjust.

No doubt the Ump is powerful if that's what you mean. Whether one is corrupt or not I absolutely cannot answer. There is a variety of strike zones out there but the teams know this in advance and try to adjust. If I were the MLB I would take the umpire out of the game. Computerized immediate balls and strikes are already in play. Have the umpire on the field to only be there to make immediate decisions for the flow of play. Foul tips, trapped balls, close play at the bag. There is enough video available that any questionable can could be overturned in near real time. This eliminates challenges and arguments with the umpires that already slow down the game that goes at the pace or watching paint dry. I went to a Reds game towards the end of last season and it may have been more painful than watching paint dry.
