#1 Ohio State vs. # 4 Georgia Tech #2 Ole Miss vs. #3 Alabama As bad as the SEC looked overall, they still have top teams that could break through.... I think Ole Miss might have a really good team this year....the good thing about this projection is we actually get to see Ole Miss-Bama next week. I might even put the winner of that game as #1 I'm still sold on Georgia Tech as well, and they got lucky with ND star quaterback Zaire going out for the season. Georgia Tech should roll through South Bend On the bubble: FSU, LSU, Clemson, Michigan State, USC, UCLA, BYU, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma

I have a hard time seeing the number two team right now.
In view of the schedule OSU can't possibly lose before MSU.
Alabama or any other team in the SECW could end up with three loses.

Before this weekend, I was looking a the schedules and thinking that Clemson could go undefeated through Sept and Oct, and still be outside the T10, given so few opportunities for teams above to lose, but then upsets bring you back to reality.
Clemson executed poorlythis week and regressed from week 1. There will be some ass-chewing in film review today.
Clemson's first team is championship-capable. Clemson's 2nd team is not. Clemson's special teams are special needs.
Off to the Ville for Thursday night, with one day less than the Ville to prepare...that's what sux about being the road team on Thursday night games.

I can see them clearly...they're Ohio State next week. I'm putting the winner of Ole Miss-Alabama as #1 FSU got penalized for close games last year...Ohio State should be moved down because of that schedule

Yeah, probably safe to say Ole Mrs. won't make it 70+ for m3 weeks in a row...
BC only allowed 11 total yards this weekend, the lowest FBS total in 20+ years.
56 teams have already been eliminated from the "playoff"...

I'm for letting the season play out and seeing where everything falls. Look what's happened after week 2.

Ohio State will win the Big 10 most likely and be in the playoff....so I wouldn't worry about it. Bielema is right though, through and through If Alabama wins this weekend, they will have beaten Wisconsin and Ole Miss.... Ohio State will have 1 tough game under their belt until Michigan State....who deserves to be #1 more? You can't say Ohio State because last year they beat Alabama...that was last year. This is a whole new year

Bielema made an ass and laughing stock out of himself by worrying about someone else's schedule the second week of the year. Never liked his style at Wisconsin and I predict hell wind up being fired at Arkansas.

Last season OSU got hammered for their scheduled and at the end of the day the Big 10 EAST went 9 - 6 vs power 5 conferences. Alabama got praised for there gauntlet of a schedule and the SEC WEST ended up going 6 - 5 vs power 5 conferences. At this point all we hear from the ESPN pundits is how horrendous the Ohio State schedule is and how treacherous the SEC schedules are. As Doc says, it is all lip service until we get well into the season as we have no idea how good any of these teams will be.

I think they are better than every team on their schedule. I think only MSU is even close.
Do you think I am wrong?
We are here to talk about sports and saying what we think will happen is part of that.

Ohio State plays Northern Illinois Western Michigan @ Indiana Maryland Penn State @ Rutgers Compare that to Clemson's upcoming schedule @ Louisville -BYE- Notre Dame Georgia Tech Boston College @ Miami @ NC State Florida State Ohio State has one of the weakest schedules in the land. You don't have to compare to the SEC West...you can compare to ANY other team in a P5 conference

So after 2 weeks you know that Ohio State plays one of the weakest schedules in the land. Many of you said the same thing last year and when it was all said and done, Ohio State played 11 bowl teams that went 6-6 in bowl games (Oregon played 2 bowl games). Keep worrying about the schedule, same old worn out tune.

Maryland? cmon, take your scarlet and grey glasses off Like I said, I wouldn't worry about it too much. As long as Ohio State wins the Big 10, they'll be in the playoff....

I have to wonder about that stat... I guess it's true, but... who were the teams they played?
OVERALL, last year.... including all regular season and Bowl games, the B1G as a whole was 11-13 against the other four P5 conference. The SEC was 11-10.
