RCP:
13 Apr, Maryland, NBC4/MARIST Trump 41, Cruz 29, Kasich 24 12 Apr, New York, Quinnipiac, Trump 55, Kasich 20, Cruz 19 12 Apr, New York, NY1/Baruch, Trump 60, Kasich 17, Cruz 14 12 Apr, Connecticut, Emerson, Trump 50, Kasich 26, Cruz 17 10 Apr, Pennsylvania, Fox News, Trump 48, Kasich 22, Cruz 20
These aren't even close, some even beyond several multiples of the MOE.
Cruz's remark on NY values is really hurting him in the NE. Could be one of the biggest gaffes of all election history. Just when he was gaining some momentum.
Trump / Cruz are running out of time to join forces. The combined delegate total would likely prevent GOPe shenanigans. It would simply be too naked.

Hero: "Called off the primary in to make sure they could hand all the delegates to Cruz."
Yes, they changed the rules in August 2015 and kept them secret and hidden from Donald Trump so they could hand all of the delegates to Cruz 9 months later.
Lol.

According to today’s headlines:
Trump is so doomed!
Cruz is so doomed!
Kasich will be the nominee!
At least the stories are consistent.

They called off the primary to make sure their delegates remained uncommitted. For sure, they did this to thwart Trump. I suspect they never imagined that it might help Cruz.

Bevo: "They called off the primary to make sure their delegates remained uncommitted. For sure, they did this to thwart Trump. I suspect they never imagined that it might help Cruz." In August 2015? Really? What evidence do you have that they called off the primary in August 2015 to make sure that their delegates remained uncommitted? Or, did you just make that up? Why couldn't Trump have done the same thing Cruz did? Why didn't Trump say something in August 2015? In September 2015? October 2015? November 2015? December 2015? January 2016? February 2016? March 2016? www.msnbc.com/msnbc/colorado-loss-reveals-chaotic-overwhelmed-trump-campaign

Is John Gibson still alive?
So, are Colorado's delegates committed to Cruz or are they uncommitted? If Colorado called off its primary in order to make sure that its delegates remained uncommitted, how did Cruz walk away with 34 delegates?
You say that Trump should have figured it out, but previously you said that that it was changed to thwart Trump. It seems to me that if they didn't want Trump or Cruz, then the new rules should have favored Kasich, as the lone remaining candidate not named Trump or Cruz. But, Kasich also bombed in Colorado.
I have come to the conclusion that Trump and Kasich both failed to do their homework and groundwork, But, Cruz did both, and earned 34 delegates.
If Colorado was rigged, it seems to me that it was rigged in favor of the candidate who proved to be the most competent.

If Colorado was rigged, it seems to me that it was rigged in favor of the candidate who proved to be the most competent. Colorado made sure their delegates were not committed by any state-wide vote, or straw poll. They've had this "straw poll" in the past, but never assigned delegates according to the results of it. Last year, the RNC said they had to.... So, rather than take a chance, they cancelled it. The plan was, to continue what they've been doing: assign delegates based on precinct by precinct convention. This kind of system is designed to prevent "populist" from winning. Rather, it's intended to favor candidates with political experience and superior organization; guys like Jeb! Cruz has won committed delegates by doing the "grunt work" of having people assigned in each precinct. The way we choose a President in this country is patently ridiculous. The best thing coming out of this year's campaign is: maybe, more people are starting to realize it.

Cruz is an inexperienced first term Senator.

Cruz is an inexperienced first term Senator. That's probably what the Colorado Republican Party bosses were thinking last year.
