Who does everyone follow?
I've always had a problem with this one lol, mainly because the Oilers left Houston, and I've moved around a lot.
I'm trying to pick an NFL team to follow this year....so far I like the Eagles and Saints

Growing up in North Wilmington, Delaware ( basically a South Philly suburb) the Eagles have always been my general favorite...as have the Phillies in Baseball. I also tend to pull for NFL teams that have key ex Blue Hens in prominent roles.... for example, the Raiders when quarterbacked by Rich Gannon and now the Ravens quarterbacked by Joe Flacco, especially after that trashy creep, Ray Lewis, retired. Also I tend to pull for teams with 'classy' head coaches like the Bills of Marv Levy or the Skins of Joe Gibbs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is usually a painful experience.

I was a die hard Oiler fan. Since their demise, I've never been as passionate about any NFL team. I like the Texans. I root for them. But, I'm not nuts. I do still HATE the Steelers. That's a leftover from the Luv Ya Blue days. I also hate the cheating Patriots.
When I was a kid, I was a big Vikings fan, with the Raiders as my #2. I do still cheer for the Vikes. But, it's HARD to be a Viking fan.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is usually a painful experience. I used to like the Bucs back when they had Derrick Brooks and Alstott Now they seem to be firing a coach almost every year....didn't they just fire Lovie Smith? I don't know why they even hired him...I don't know why they had a problem with Schiano

But, it's HARD to be a Viking fan. If the Oilers still existed, they'd be my favorite team Texans? I just can't get into them. Been to two of their games and they lost both times. I also don't understand how the NFL can't get the Texans playing either the Cowboys or Saints every year?? The NFL needs a rivalry weekend bad...maybe opening weekend would be a good spot for it. Texans vs. Cowboys would be a great way to start off the season. As it is, the Texans have no major rival....Indianapolis is usually lop-sided, and the Titans haven't been all that competitive

The Cincinnati Bengals have been my team since they were founded back in 1968. 47 years of fandom and I have 2 Super Bowl losses to show for all my loyalty. That and one of the most epic meltdowns in the history of the NFL playoffs in the most recent game they played back in early January.
Hate isn't a strong enough word for my feelings toward the Steelers. And what pisses me off is every year (except this year) they seem to draft an Ohio State player - makes me sick.

I grew up in Tampa and used to be as big a Bucs / NFL fan as I am a Gator / College Football fan. However living in the Jacksonville area for 12 years now has led to me feeling less connected to the city/team. Then they changed their uniforms and drafted Jameis Winston which didn't help. My overall interest in the NFL has waned a great deal. I'm much more passionate about college sports. I'll still watch some NFL games and have them on in the background while doing other things on Sunday afternoons but they are no longer appointment TV for me.
